I have this set, and my daughter has one too. Hers is sun-faded and damaged, but she loved playing with it when she was younger (she's 18 now!).
I think I still need some of the accessories. I'd have to check my playset checklist, but, I've misplaced them (again!). They'll turn up eventually!

The last two I purchased were found at a store called Disc Replay ( http://discreplay.com/). It seems they are only located in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Ohio. I got a Dr. Whooves for myself and a Princess Twilight Sparkle for my daughter. I think I paid $20 each, but this was 2-3 years ago, around Christmas time. I haven't been to one in a while, so not sure if they still have them. halicabi

I know, scary right????? I got into the habit of saving a copy of my eBay wins (in case of problems). Since I saved them as htm files, I can click on them and read the details. Sadly, the images didn't save.
I also believe they were sold in other locations, but this auction description is all I have to go by, given that this auction was from 13 years ago! It's just a tiny clue in the big puzzle!
If memory serves, I was after the Milky Way with white stars. The other two were bonuses!

My daughter (age 18) still has hers. Her collection is comprised of all Gens.
My son (age 16) also has his. He only collects the blind bag sized G3 and G4's.

I'd say it's been about 10-15 years.
I'm still looking (off and on) for the last two Mail Order ponies I need. Yep, you guessed it, Rapunzel and Sweet Scoops. They've been available, but not at prices I'm willing to pay. Of course, as the years fly by, the prices have only increased!
With one child in college, and another in high school, I can't justify spending that much on a piece of plastic, no matter how much I might want to!

I've seen Gusty, Heart Throb, Sparkler, and Surprise at several Targets in Central Indiana.
No sign of Cherries Jubilee, Lickety Split, Posey, and Tootsie yet.
Most of the time, the Pacific Coast States gets new items first, followed by the East Coast States, and finally we get them here!

Checking back through my eBay records, I *finally* found the auction. It ended on June 16, 2007, and the seller was in Tennessee.
She was listed as:

SUGARBERRY MADE IN CHINA WITH NO PAT. PEN. ON FOOT. DATED 1987.
CHINA LEMONDROP WITH BLUSH. DATED 1982.
MILKYWAY WITH WHITE STARS. DATED 1987.
ALL PONIES ARE IN GOOD CONDITION WITH NO PONY CANCER AND NO HAIR CUTS.
PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
So, it looks like she was sold in Germany (that is, if the eBay seller was correct).
As for the Darker and Lighter Strawberries being legitimate variants, I don't really know. When I get duplicates, I compare them, and any noticeable differences are added to the shelves. It would be interesting to find out how many other collectors have noticed this difference.
In regards to the other 5 in this set, the ones I have are all from Hong Kong. I do have two Love Melody's (Darker and Lighter Pink Hearts) but I suspect the lighter one is due to fading, as her body is also a lighter color.
Sorry it took so long to respond, real life has a tendency to get in the way, but hopefully that helps in your search.

The vines in the China version are more lime green, though its hard to tell in photos. Anyone know if they were available elsewhere? There are also the Pillow Buddies Sparkleworks Rainbow Dash Sunny Daze Pinkie Pie There are 2 sets from Nanco, and they came in 2 sizes. The first set is Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Sparkleworks, and Sunny Daze. I seem to have lost my photos of those. I had them in photobucket, and deleted my account months ago, because I assumed I had everything on my hard drive. I'd re-take them, but they are packed away at the moment. Sparkleworks and Rainbow Dash, and mini Pinkie Pie The second set is Minty Sweet Breeze Wysteria Star Surprise These two are the French PJ cases. I got them off ebay from a seller in France several years ago. They are packed away as well, so I am unable to get any additional information at the moment.
