Jeez! I'm really sorry to hear that, some people are just mean. Honestly, these kind of things really annoy me. I hope you can get your money back. Good luck!

I'll also have to buy the needle and the fabric glue, but I'll check some local craft shop first before ordering, I know they have those at Dolly Hair.

No problem-o.

I found "doll needles" in the sewing notions area of Joann's. Those have worked the best out of anything I've tried. I've bought teeeeeeny tiny little crochet hooks, I cut the eye of a needle to make a re-hairing tool, but the needles have been the quickest, most accurate and the least hard on my hands. I used to make beaded jewelry, so my hands cramp up pretty quick then they're in the same position for too long. Poking a needle through the ponys head has been the kindest on my poor hands. :p (25 years old and my hands make me feel like I'm 80.)

Good luck finding a technique that works for you! :)

I might look in the sewing section of a few stores and see what they have. My hands tend to cramp up sometimes too.

Well at least you've found something that isn't so hard on them  .

Thanks for the advice!

I have a Gypsy in pretty much that condition too. xD I was planning on rehiaring, but I think I'll be passing her on for someone else to do. Good luck with them!

Thanks  . Good luck for you too eitherway.

Thank you so much Cate! Yes, I've been looking around that website you mentioned, they have pretty cool colors and they're almost a match. I'll also have to buy the needle and the fabric glue, but I'll check some local craft shop first before ordering, I know they have those at Dolly Hair.

I've found out I have also a baby pony in need of a new tale, Sweet Celebrations I think, and my Cotton Candy baby could use a hair and tale makeover too. If only I could find my Cotton Candy baby from when I was a little girl... lol.

Thanks again

I would definitely rehair them especially that gorgeous Gypsy! :lovey:

The colors you want to order are Firebird and Key Lime. You can order from Dollyhair.com or mylittleponyhair.com. Both sites are owned by Tina and the mylittleponyhair.com site seems to be an exact replica of the pony hair page on the main Dollyhair site...I think maybe Tina set it up to make it easier on pony customizers (less choices).

Yes, Gypsy looks amazing! I've researching on the hair and you're right, they have grreat hair and the colors are almost exact replicas and they ship internationaly. I'll must certain order from them.  :thumb:

Hello pony friends!

I'm in need of some advice regarding what to do with 2 of my ponies. They are Gypsy and Magic Star. They were part of a lot of ponies I bought a few years ago and they're in very good shape, apart from one of Magic Stars symbols is a bit rubbed on one side. However, the problem with both of them is that their mane and tails were cut short. I'm thinking about re-hairing them because I think they're worth it, but I'd like to ask your opinion. I've never restored any pony but for what I've seen on the tutorials, doesn't seem that hard.
Thank you

Hi!

I'm Clara a 31 year old girl from Portugal. I've always loved My Little Ponies since they first appeared on TV. Then, 10 years ago I've started collecting them and I don't think I'll ever stop  :P . My favourite ponies are the ones from the first generation, I also like the 3rd but for some reason I don't like either G2 or G4.

For what I've seen here everyone seems really nice and friendly and the ponies really affordable. I should have found this website a long time ago  ...

Nice to meet you all  ,

Clara (aka rainbow_bubbles)
