So I have the Royal Cape. There was already some fading damage to it (a big bleached spot) so I decided to go ahead and wash it. It faded a bit more. Because of the previous damage I am not too worried about saving the color. I never liked the hot pink color.
I was thinking about going ahead and Sun fading it to see if I can get it white (or very near). Worse case, It doesn’t work. The fur is in good condition and the cape looks easy to make.
Has anyone done this? Any Suggestions.

Recently I sun bleached my pony.
I used painters tape to protect the symbols but when I removed the tape it left a sticky residue.
Cleaning with Dawn and warm water did not work so I resorted to a technique I used when I super glued my fingers together ( yes I did that, don’t judge me)

The tail is one of the issues.   The washer that hold it in place has come off and is rattling inside her.

Hello My Little Pony Fans! 
Thank you for accepting me into the group.

MLP was one of my favorite toys.   
Over the years I had to downsize and many items were donated.  I did keep one pony, Peachy, because she was my first.
Recently my husband and I were cleaning the attic and I found a box that had some of my childhood toys.   My husband had save some of it and set it aside. 
The box contained the Show Stable, with most of the accessories and additional clothing items.
I regret the loss of the other ponies    but hope they are the pride and joy of someone’s collection.  Perhaps they are in yours 
I am excited to see lots of resources for the restoration of MLP toys.
I am also a photographer and have plans to photograph and document the restoration of my collection.
