I don't think I have ever successfully won a my little pony auction. I've gotten most of my rare ponies on here because I am TERRIBLE at auctions and very unlucky.

When I was a kid, everyone hated the beddy bye eye ponies. I remember I had a ton of them sitting down in my basement and my friends would never play with them. So I felt sorry for them, and I started to play with baby gusty and baby shady. To this day, they still remain my favorite ponies.

(my cat is attacking the animated "applejack flicking her ear" signature that DoctorMonwinckel has as I type this, lol)

Well, as I said earlier, I'd pretty much throw all of my money at the screen for a gusty or shady plush.

Lyra and Pony are easily my favorite background ponies.

Oh, and Dollar.

Gusty. Absolutely Gusty. I'd throw money at my monitor until the  monitor broke. But not gusty with the rarity and twilight sparkle eyes. Gusty with Lyra's eyes. Yeah. Best thing ever.

Maybe Shady, too.

I am so sorry to hear about the cat.

That's the risk of working at a no-kill shelter, you get to do great things and help the kitties, but sometimes you see some bad things, too. I worked at a pet store and I saw some pretty upsetting things myself.

But this is meant for happy things to cheer you up.
So I'm going to tell you a story.

I got my cat from a no kill shelter. He was taped in a box and dumped on the side of the road with some other cats. The people at the no kill shelter found the cats and brought them to their shelter, even though they didn't have any room for them.

If it weren't for the caring folks at that no kill shelter, these cats would have died and I would have never met my lovely little Ghost.

So, even though you have some sadness now, know that you are helping a lot of cats that are in need.
