Unless something is very very rare, don't let FOMO guide your bidding actions. You can and will always find a cheaper pony eventually without resorting to the tippy top prices on eBay, especially when you're embroiled in a bidding war.

I had one way back in the day (late 90s) where only part of her legs (the part that peeked out from behind the other pony she was in front of on my dorm room windowsill because I was an idiot and put my ponies right in a window) turned that color, so I am going to third the whole "faded" thing.
That being said, I kiiiiiiiinda like her better this way.

No, I didn't, but I have a friend who grew up in Brazil, and I am dying for her to bring her ponies back to the states the next time she goes to visit her parents.
About the "rarest" thing I had was Dream Castle. Which is not rare at all.

You...are an enabler. Seriously though, some of those Nirvanas are crazy amazing. I just purchased Sparkler...who is not a unicorn but a blue CP pony with the same symbol (but not glittery) with dark purple hair!

It takes me about an hour and a half, I just jam it in there and throw glue in there afterwards. I only rehair for myself, though.

They look even more lumpy to me head on. Don't look at me that way! Like they are JUDGING YOUR SINS. This is why I didn't like my childhood flutter. It looked weird to me! If she has one of each eye, then they were made in the same factory?
Maybe they just had multiple machines going on? I mean we are talking about China in the mid-80s here, being on-model was not their strong point to begin with back then.

You know...it might be that pale purple color. I have a Galaxy with what appears to be full body regrind as well. And also now I know why I sometimes hate Peach Blossom and Lily and sometimes love them. It's the big head mold! I feel like it's judging me when you look at it head on. EDIT: OMG I just looked at my Honeysuckle, which I just got and she seems to have one of each eye and she looks completely ridiculous. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I always liked her. Reminded me of Ursa Major and Minor from Moon Dreamers.

When I am looking for ponies or actively involved in a purchase, daily.
When not? Years can pass.

What's really funny is that when I was a kid, I would pop my head off Twilight, and my tail off Cotton Candy and swap their bodies/heads ALL THE TIME.
