I use clear vinyl storage cubes. (Hubby decided to store his nerf weapons next to it). This is on the wall facing my bed, so I always see my ponies! (Hubby says they watch him while he sleeps... hence the need for the nerf weapons I guess.)


I used to have risers in the cubes so the ponies were displayed better, but after the last move I recycled them and haven't felt like making them again (out of cardboard priority mail boxes).

Great article! It's cool that Hasbro - and the songwriter -  is aware of their older audience as well as their younger target demographic.

*waves to all* I have not been around the arena as much as usual, lately, due to all the time I'm spending on my thesis project. However, I do have a prototype ready and I need some people to test it! I am a web & interactive design student and I'm making a website &  online game to teach kids about prehistoric animals that lived in the Cambrian period. Think Happy Aquarium/Fishville only about real prehistoric animals!

Baby Lofty was my one and only grail for 10 years!!  I didn't know they made her either, until I saw her on ebay in 2001ish.  I fell in love, but I decided I shouldn't spend that much on a pony.  I would wait for her to come around again, and it took me over 10 years to find her again!  I justified her by the fact that she was less than $1 per day of my pregnancy (she was my reward for the nausea, backaches, sleepless night etc..).  I bought her for myself in the 8th month, and my husband didn't even complain (well, only a little  ).

Baby Gusty was my last one.  Now I feel like I need to make some customs of the ones that were never made, like Shady and Sundance, so they aren't left out.

Congrats! And I think it would be fun to make/commission babies that were never made, to match the moms. The mom/baby pairs are just so much fun.

I love the Beatles! I used to watch Shining Time Station as a kid (Ringo was the conductor) so Ringo is my favorite. I especially love their later (1966 onward) music and The Beatles: Rock Band is amazing!
