I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks this is the case.

Just got back from Wal-Mart. Finally caved and bought G4 FS Pinkie Pie. I really wanted one for the car ride up to Colorado. 12 hours without an FS Pinkie Pie in tow just wouldn't be the same. I also impulse-grabbed Flitterheart because I saw the pig and I just reacted. I LOVE pigs you guys. LOVE.

I'm so sorry this happened to you.

So my husband and I are moving and the whole ordeal has been one disaster after another since December. Everything said and done, we didn't get a place to live until today. 


My husband had to go to the city we're moving to on Tuesday, while I am still at our apartment packing and caring for our zoo. He called me this morning to tell me he signed the lease for our new place and then he says, "Hey. I got a present for you. The neighbors were having a garage sale and guess what I found? Ponies."


Yep. My husband in all his manliness went to the garage sale next door and looked for ponies. Then he called me on the phone in the middle of public and started describing their cutie marks to me (he has a crappy flip phone, so no pictures) so that I could identify the ponies he had purchased for me. Ha ha!


After I identified them, he said, "I got you some ponies so that our new house will feel like home." D'aww!


For the curious cats, I identified the 3 ponies as 2005 McDonald's Pinkie Pie (he knows who she is!), 2005 McDonald's Butterscotch & Rainbow Flash (not sure which set/pose).


Anyone else got an "Aww!" story of husbands being awesome?

I've been eyeballing her for a while. My local Wally World (er, Wal-Mart) has ONE of her and I get grabby every time I go and I see her, but I've been trying to snatch up some Limited Edition G3s of her.

Congrats! I love G4 FS Pinkie Pie. They did a great job on her. My FS Rainbow Dash doesn't have glue on the neck, so you may have just gotten lucky with that. Ha ha.
