I am sorry to hear of your loss.
As for the selling, I wish you the best of luck. Someone like me who is new to collecting is pretty much looking for everything under the sun. Maybe you could just sell them in big lots without lists? Kind of a fun "Giant Blind Bag of Ponies" type thing?
I don't really know the best way to go about it, but I may be interested in finding out what you're getting rid of, since I have such a long way to go on my own collection.

I got Taco Bell for dinner and when I got to the bottom of my burrito, there was a giant gob of cheese just sitting there, waiting for me to consume it. It was delicious.
And creating a Ponysona while simultaneously listening to MLP:FiM songs on YouTube.

They might not release one.
I was talking to hubbs and he made a good point: it would probably cost too much money. It may be that, instead of making physical copies, they made a deal with Netflix and sold them the rights to use it on Instant for a set fee or something along those lines. This is merely a theory, but it's something worth considering. The DVD/Blu-ray market is pretty bad right now since people don't want to pay for physical discs anymore. Everyone would rather have digital or to just pirate what they want.
This may be a wise business decision. It would make sense that they would release it elsewhere, in countries that don't have Netflix. But the U.S. & Canada may never see it. Again, just a theory.

Aww! The first time my hubbs took me to get ponies from the local vintage toy shop I had too many and couldn't carry them all. I asked him to take some and he refused.  I got them all to the counter and afterwards I asked him why he didn't help me and he said, "I knew that if I took some for you, you'd grab more of them." Ha ha! He knows me so well.

Merry Go Round pony because of my ability to be pleased by simple, childish things. Merry Go Rounds included. Sparkle Pony because I love stars. Sundae Best pony because whenever I'm having a bad day, I go out for ice cream.

My husband to be found me a Baby explorer, identical to the one I lost as a child.
He remembered me telling him the story of how she was taken from me and how she was the only pony from my childhood that I do not have today.
For christmas last year he set up a treasure hunt for me, little clues and puzzles hidden around our house that eventually lead me to a box with the little shiny Baby Explorer in it. I was so happy I could cry. 
This story made me want to hug something. That is sooo sweet!
