Yeah, I have a notebook that has some sketches from last night in there...need to find my art gear when I'm done moving so I can color in and really get my sketches done up right. =]
It took about an hour and a half all told, but I really love the way it turned out. *sucker for charm bracelets*
Thanks for the tips and comments guys!

Ok here is what I got done last night. I know she isn't everyone's favorite pony, but I used what colors I had for now. I will try to make up the peyote stitch ring I was thinking for another pony later on this afternoon, and will post pics asap. =] May I present the Snuzzle charm bracelet! I want to try and make more upscale versions of the pony jewelry. Yes, the ones with the images on them are cute, but can you wear them to work, or with a nicer outfit? Not always. not that I am not guilty of this...I lost a pony charm doing that one time...sad day. >.> *cough* anyway, this is my solution! I want to get more pieces of jewelry done, but until I can get the right charms for some of the ponies, i can't fully duplicate what I want them to look like. Sorry if the lighting isn't great, but I took 3 different pictures so you could see. And yes...the Thing is my hand. Can't find my jewelry display Thing. >.> think it got packed away a few weeks ago. *facepalm* Something like this costs me about $20, depending on what exactly I use in the bracelet. Swarovski costs more, as well as the better quality metals and such. I want to try to trade and sell these, if not to y'all, in my Etsy shop. I 'm trying to get my home business started up again, and this is the first step. The bracelet is made with glass hearts, and a mixture of grey and pink beads, with a few silver hearts scattered in among the other beads. It is seven and half inches long, but can be shortened. (it's a little bit long on my small wrist). Triple Treat would not take the liquid dye (silly me) to make her a pretty blue. Solution? Dye her black like my other pony.
Will it work with paint? I have no clue. If it doesn't, ah well. I am at least going to try... couldn't hurt, right?

So I want to run an idea by everyone. I design and make jewelry as another hobby of mine, and I wanted to know if there would be any interest in custom MLP jewelry. Not with charms of the ponies themselves, and all that, but custom jewelry based on both the original ponies, and on pony personas.
I intend to do up some sketches and possibly some prototypes tonight/this next week or so. So for Cherries Jubilee, do a pink bracelet/necklace, with 5 cherry charms attached to it. I can do anything from charm bracelets to more intricate pieces...I even thought about molding different symbols, since finding the right charms isn't always easy.
So what kind of interest is there in such an item?

So...I'm working on my first custom. She needs to be rehaired now, and I need to gloss her eyes, but after that, I should be done. Sealed her symbols with modge podge three times. Have to fix her neck as well >.< here we come ribbon necklace. Hope y'all like her! Also...I'm needing a name for this pretty lady. yeah that was what i was thinking. I won't be buying the liquid again. But, that is all good anyway. Learning is learning, and means I now know more than i did this morning xD So now, I need to wait til I can get another bait body good for blue dye xD Oh, on a side note, in case anyone was wondering, the pony who wouldn't dye blue also had some spots that wouldn't take the dye right at all, so i am thinking of doing her in a tribal paint full body design. I have another one that I need to post pics of tomorrow when i can. =] Not related to the dyed pony, other than came in the same box, but I am proud of her. here are my dyed ponies, btw: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

well, I had made sure she was super clean before I dyed her, and I'm wondering if it is because it was the liquid instead of the powder...might be, eh? But she took the black dye perfectly, so I might just not worry about it. =] yay for bait bodies ready to do something with!

I went ahead and dyed it black instead of blue, cause it didn't take the blue at all, but there are some spots in the black that it didn't stick...I'm going to try a blue dye over it to see if it does anything. xD yay for experimentation!

So...my softer bodied mlp is not taking my dye. o.o Any suggestions? I've got the water hot, the pony completely submerged...now I'm thinking I might just leave her in there for a while and see what happens.
