That's incredible! I never would have connected late medieval manuscripts to pony customs, and yet it seems so natural here... such a beautiful blending of interests. I love her back especially.

(on that note the one Custom I'm most likely to commission is of G3 Spike).
Fun fact! When I was a kid in mid-g3, I sent a letter to Hasbro recommending they make a Spike toy. I cited their past Spike toys from G1, and probably noted that I thought a single boy might be nice. I got a letter back on Mr. Potato Head stationary thanking me for my interest and letting me know that product design is a lengthy process with a lot of different inputs (in other words, “No.”)
Not happy at Hasbro for that!!!
They were at least nice about it. Getting a reply at all was really neat!

What a great concept! And your art is lovely, you get that G1 boxart aesthetic.

I recall being so jealous that my friend got the version of the PC game that came with Sparkleberry Swirl. My copy came with no prize... but since we always played with our toys together, it wasn’t a big deal.
They also had the castle and Sunsparkle. Lucky duck.

Growing up my friend’s little sister had Romperooni, but she never knew her official name. She became Ola-Oakla, though I never knew where that name came from. When I found out the original name, both of them thought it was silly and decided theirs was better.

I love miniatures! I am always collecting tiny things for my ponies/dolls/beanies, though I don't think I could ever make anything as epic as Kimono's Townhouse.
Oh my god, these are seriously amazing. Like, wow! I love the little painting desk, and the toys... great work.

Those look great! I like the brunette Link, perhaps he's from the NES era?
The drink machine is a gashapon prize I got while traveling! It even dispenses a tiny can when you press a button, but I had to make a replacement after it vanished. It was smaller than a tictac, so i shouldn't be so surprised...

Anybody here enjoy doing miniature photography? I haven't done any fun pony photos since I got into making my customs, but I find the concept a lot of fun. Here's one I've taken with some other figurines. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnyone have some fun photos?

tea pot spout brush ![Smile :)](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/smile_001.gif)
Love pkw xxx
How did you know the brush was for a tea pot spout? Did they sell it as a tea pot spout brush? I think I may have a small fascination going on with this.
I was ready to accept that sort of tool as a British staple I'd never heard of until I saw that you're from England. The world is full of mystery... Thanks for all the great answers, by the way! I got the job done with the mascara brush

I got some great responses to my question about getting dirt out of hard to reach places, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to seek some help with other customizing/restoring conundrums. Maybe I'll just add them to this thread in the future instead of starting new ones if I need more help...
Right now, I'm wondering if anyone has any advice with most effectively removing a pony's factory paint. I used nail polish remover to try and wipe away the yellow symbol/cutie mark from a white vinyl body today, but despite my best scrubbing and use of a Magic Eraser I haven't been able to scrub out the remaining yellow stain. I've read the Pony Preservation Project page, but does anyone have any firsthand experience they can share?
Thank you!

Oh my gosh they're lovely! I ADORE Galarian ponyta and rapidash, I got Shield for Christmas and played it nonstop for a few days Love the hoof fluff too, you might've given me an idea for my own custom!
Thanks so much! I'll have to keep an eye out for that custom if you post any pictures, I'd glad I could inspire you!
