Haawan is my alternative choice whenever "griffin" is already taken. That, too, dates back to when I was a teenager, it's a silly wordplay me and my friend came up with. It's the name of my elvish alter ego / parody character.

In my headcanon - which resolves around G2 and the Friendship Gardens (and the cloud-castle which can be seen in the artwork) -  the title of Princess is something you earn for doing things contributing to the kingdom, hence why there are so many princesses and often a princess version of a regular pony. Being a princess is just kind of having a very important job. Princess Silver Rain handles the rain, Princess Twinkle Star handles the shooting stars, Princess Golden Light transport the sunbeams to the land and Princess Crystal makes sure the future isn't tampered with (that's why she has a crystal ball! ) and that the natural magic of the land flows as it should. Things like that.

Ooo I like that. That's a very well though-out story. ^_^

This week was a fantastic pony week! My husband got his Christmas bonus and gave me some money for pony shoppin'! So tonight I picked up the Princess Celebration Bakery and three blind bags (all with awesome finds inside).

I was originally going to wait until my Hot Cash took effect to get these two ladies; but it can't be used until January and we were a little worried that with Christmas fast approaching our Hot Topic might get picked over. So today we went and picked up vinyl Lyra Heartstrings and Octavia Melody. I loves them so much, precious!
