Now and again I forget, but I try really hard to not goof. Sometimes I do get double G1s and that's fine, but with G3 I have kinda stopped buying them because so many don't mean anything to me, so I only collect the ones I like.

For my birthday one of my friends found me a G1 Posey plushie. Man was I surprised. We were in a Perkins so I wasn't able to squeel at my most excited level, but man was I giddy. I had no idea how hard their insides are. I thought they would be squishy, but I guess since they stand up they need stability. I need to take a pic of her at some point. I'm just glad I finally have one.

I recently got rid of 52 G3's, because I realized a lot of the ones I had just didn't excite me. When I got them I was like yay pony without really looking at it. Sometime later I looked at them and wondered what if anything was exciting about the pony in particular. When I found that nothing about it was exciting I figured it was time to pass her along to someone else. I kept the ones my mom got me or the ones I really cared for. I also kept ones for my armies. Try that approach first and if you still can't thin out the herd sorry. That is the best advice I've got.

I have quite a few armies. I have a pinkie pie army, a rainbow dash army, a minty army, a sunny daze army, a very small starcatcher army of only 2 members and an ornament, and I believe those are the only ones I really add to.

I really started collecting ponies hardcore when Generation 3 came out. I had a few G1 ponies when I was a little kid, but I didn't collect them as much as I did in college. I remember picking up StarCatcher when I was shopping for college dorm room supplies and from there my need for ponies grew into a huge collection. Now I have a 30 gallon tub full of G1, G2, and G3/G3.5 and then a 10 gallon tub for G4 which they are already beginning to outgrow, a box for Ponyville, and another tub for accessories. I also have a castle, the stable, and some other buildings. The ponies are taking over....not like it's a bad thing.

I just got some of the Princess Filly ponies and I actually like them. I got five of them and managed to get the rare Princess Crystal one. They are only 1.99 a blind bag at Walgreens and I have seen the tin with the gold one at Target. I guess I found something to hold me over till new G4 comes out. I also like that these guys are flocked. If you haven't gotten any yet I recommend them.

I was watching the review of A Simple Wish done by the Nostalgia Critic. When Annabelle reaches over to pick up the fairy godfathers wand on her bed stand there is a So Soft Srucmptious sitting on her shelf. I never saw that before. I thought that was cool.

The only thing I remember is the Sunny Daze gumball machine/coin bank. On her cutie mark was a little door you opened and put gumballs into. Then you turn her head and the gumballs come out of the bottom. On the bottom was a slot to put coins in and the stopper was in the bottom. She also has a button you push and she played the theme song. You could brush her hair too. There were two other ponies I remember. I don't remember who they are off hand and I got her at Wal-greens. Hope that helps.

I found a pony on the sidewalk once, but I left her, because I know there were kids that lived in the house nearby. She was one I already had and I didn't want to take a little girls favorite pony. How funny you found one on a mailbox though.

Also, I have heard rumors before that they pay people to 'stretch the truth'.
I never watched My Strange Addiction, but some of us have probably seen/heard of the fury episode. I have heard from a few places that the person they had on the show was a fury, but no were near what they portrayed her as on the show. She was perfectly fine with going in public without her fursuit on, but they made her act like she had to. The reason they had her on there was because the other furries they approached refused to be on the show.
I am not sure if this is 100% true or not, but it is pretty sad to think they would pay someone to act like that for someone else's amusement.
I am a furry and I saw this episode. I was actually really upset by it, because we found out that she was paid $1500 to lie about the community. I don't know anyone that must go out in suit all the time and they had to mention one of the negatives about us that could have easily been left out of the whole episode. Because of how badly that show portrayed furries I would never wish that on someone that collected ponies.

The bank is also a gumball machine. You put small gumballs where the cutie mark is and then you turn her head and the gumball falls out of the bottom. I have the Sunny Daze one.

I don't remember what the first G3 set I finished was, but I know my first G1 set was the Rainbow Curl ponies. I'm a sucker for rainbow hair.

I will make sure to keep an eye on this thread so I can get the day off. Hopefully it will be earlier in September so it doesn't run into the same time as my Dad's wedding around the 22nd. This is going to be interesting.

I am a combination of Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy. Fluttershy is because I can be very scared and nervous when it comes to tackling something big. Also her love of animals is just like me. I'm like Twilight Sparkle, because I love to read and gather knowledge, I treasure my friends, and if I get really involved in something I will be more happy alone than around other people.
