Same sizes. Stores just...well, don't know how to measure. In TRU, I think they just want an excuse to charge more, so they added 2 extra inches to the name/stickerplate.

If you can confirm the Vinyl 20" plush, that'd be great. Our TRU restocked the plushes, I saw another 20" Octavia, but the only white one was Rarity.
We did get the Trixie EGQ doll in. I really should grab it for a gag gift for a friend, as Trixie is his 'waifu'. But I ain't spending $24 bucks on it...I just wait til his birthday to nab one, lol.

I got the Octavia 20" plush, but haven't spotted the Vinyl one yet. I'll keep an eye out for her at mine!
Also, my TRU is stocked full of...what, over 75+ Rainbow Dash EQG dolls. I have no idea why they have so many, or why they think they are going to sell them for that much :S

I have Crackle, had the Spike (gave em to a friend once Build-A-Bear's version came out) but I need to get Daring Do. I dont feel like making her myself. As for the Alicorn Rarity, I have the Princess Twilight one - if the wings are the same, then I think I can get away with using the seam ripper tool and remove Rarity's wings off, giving me a nice standard Rarity plush

If the 'cow' pony is yellow with a blue mane then, um, the 'udder' isn't actually what you might think it is 
I've come across the character before, but it's very NSFW.
On the subject of these toys, no, I haven't succumbed. Yet. But unless the UK release a muffin pony soon, I may just cave in and get one.
I did find out what the udder was supposed to be- a lactating udder- and the pony- Milky way or something wears a bra over it. Stupid I think rather than NSFW. Yes- ponies really do have udders when they are nursing mothers- but putting them in a bra doesn't make them human breasts, nor does it make them somehow naughty. It does, however, look stupid. People have the strangest ideas sometimes...

At the moment, as others have said, only the UK have got the larger size versions of all 7 characters. So far we have larger versions of Pinkie, Dash and Twilight Sparkle however Applejack, Rarity, Princess Twilight and Fluttershy will be out soon.
Anywhere that carries Beanies will be able to carry the small/regular size ones. We have had them for a couple of weeks now here, but the small Fluttershy, AJ and Rarity will filter to the US soon enough. As for the price of the large ones - $20 isnt bad. You have to remember over here prices simply take the $ and replace it with the £ which makes things much more expensive. The small beanies run to £6 which is about $10 and the larger ones I think are £10-12 depending on store which is and that equates to $16-20ish. So what you are being charged for them on ebay is about what someone would probably have to pay to pick them up in store.
Giant versions of them were also recently spotted at a show - I am holding out for them they would be awesome!!!! But TY does not tend to make very many of their giant products so I would think they will need a big retailer happy to carry them in large quantities if they are really going to happen.
Those gigantic ones, I'm not holding my breath for any store to carry those, but if they appear online...god help my wallet.
