I was going to say to give her the doubt or ask if she could pay for some of it now UNTIL I read that her total is under 10 bucks! Even if she is telling the truth about her van, she should be able to scrap together that small of amount.

Maybe I sound heartless, but really under 10? That doesn't take 2 weeks to get.

I would tell her your not comfortable waiting that long, maybe offer to cancel her order with out ruining her feedback score or reporting her.

So some would be worth more to just restore? I'm not really a collector (outside of a handful of G4's). If ones worth 5 dollars restored vs 30 turned into a custom, its going to be turned into a custom.

I'm not someone who judges pony's bait-abley by what condition they are in, but rather their rarity.

So thats what I want to know, (I know their condition isn't horrible) are there any rare collectable ones?

EDIT: Wow, I never expected such a response! 

I was the only bidder and normally mlp lots (especially older gens) sell for 25 and up so I didn't realize these would be so wanted. I do believe their story is that they were owned by a older woman collector who passed away and now her daughter is trying to sell all her stuff. So hopefully they look as good as they do in the photo 

After such a positive out reach, here is what I think I am going to do. When they get here I will wash them up a bit and post better pics of them here and offer them up for sale or trade (for example I send you one pony and you send me 2 cruddy bait worthy g3s or whatever). Cut hair, faded paint, marks or whatever I really don't care because they will be used as bait as long as they aren't like missing limbs or chewed or what not Is that fair?

So please don't panic about me chopping them up lol.

I just bought this lot of 20 older gen ponies for 15 on eBay with the intention of using them as bait. However I know nothing about the older gens and I wanted to make sure that none of them were like super rare or something.

I put a little acetone in the head and let it set for a few minutes before I start removing the hair. Not too much though! Because you can ruin the head if you drench it.

You still probably won't be able to just pull the hair out; what I do is take some tweezers to scrape the glue and hair out once its soften from the acetone.

Yeah I cut the neck a bit on my first one too  My advice to prevent neck cuts is to stick your pony in hot water till shes nice and soft and then slowly cut the neck plug; your pony will most likely harden before your done so just put her back in the warm water 

Your cutie marks look just amazing! The amount of detail in them is just incredible
