I am trying to look up postage options. Priority is still there of course, but is Parcel post gone? If it is, what is taking its place?

Please don't tell me that the only option for things over 13 ounces is Priority mail! I will never get rid of my stuff!

I was trying to get some packages ready to go out and cannot find a way to print a Standard Shippping lable thru Paypal. This is of course what most people want. Is the USPS seriously not letting people print their own postage anymore? Holy Smokes! I don't have time to go to the PO everyday!

I have always wanted to start a thread like this but was afraid of getting into trouble! I am so sick of seeing PP in every set that comes out. Even the new plushes that are coming have to have her. Can't they do anything without having to put her in it?

To be honest I have no problem with it The seller gets a great deal and the buyer must have really wanted those ponies. So congrats to them both.

Years ago when I was still completing sections of my collection, I used to get so upset when I overspent on a pony and then came on the Arena to see a thread giggling at my purchase. I once spent about $120 on a complete Rosette loose with all her accessories, about double what she was worth but for me I wanted her and I was willing to spend it. I was super pleased and intended to brag when she arrived but unfortunately a thread in the Corral laughing at price put me off the brag.

At the end of the day as much as we can price check and set by it now prices or have the price we want an auction to end in our minds, G1 ponies dont have a RRP, they dont have a guaranteed minimum or a guaranteed maximum price. Therefore a pony is simply worth what someone is willing to pay at that time.

I have seen super high ending auctions, I have seen super low ending auctions - and I ll admit to both having paid well over the odds as well as well under the odds in the past. Thats the nature of collecting.

However I will admit that the "dog tooth shaped like a My Little Pony" which someone bid on and won on ebay...now that was truly crackers!!!! 

I agree with what you say here! I got an Anchors Away in a lot when she was most popular so I payed quiet a bit but I wanted her! I was really upset at some of the things people said about it. I was the one that spent the money so I could figure out why others had such a problem with it. I still enjoy her even though she isn't worth as much now. I guess being rude is how some folks get their jollies.

I put off getting it but I didn't see it in too many of the stores around here. Oh well, maybe I will run into one sometime or trade for it.

Oil is rarer, plastic is made of oil, toys are made of plastic, toys are more expensive. It's sad, but that is generally the idea.

Or maybe Hasbro is more interested in filling their pockets rather than putting any quality in their products. In twenty years the Hasbro set will probably have regrind and who knows what other issues while the Lion King set will still look awsome! It is sad that very few companies have any pride anymore.
