BabiChuld - thank you! (I just cleaned up my first curly one, right now not so fond of them haha)

So, I finished a few of them today. I'm super gentle in my cleaning process, I rather they be a little dirty still then to mess anything up with them. 

Baby Quackers was used a sort of test since she has been chewed. So I tried my "Swedish version of Magic Eraser" as well as how her tail would turn out with a large straw. She cleaned up so nicely though...

Hey guys!
I did a quick search, but if I missed a thread about this I'm sorry.

So, I started cleaning up my old ponies. Of course I started with the simpler ones, like Magic Star and Cherries Jubilee, where I used the tip I saw by Melinda at Retroblasting on youtube, and wrapped their mane around their necks and their tails wrapped around the back hoof and secured with papertowels.

Now... how do you decide how a pony used to look? I mean some you can tell used to be curly, and I use drinking straws on those...

But how do you do it? Do you try to find how they are "supposed" to look (mane and tail)? Or do you go with whatever you find prettier?

Haha thank you! My mother's friend love yellow as well, so it's thanks to her that most of my yellow ponies (besides Magic Star of course) found me - so I'm very lucky as I'm huge fan of them too!

How long does it take you to create one of these ponies? They are really beautiful, and the hair you choose for them goes so well with the patterns on their bodies.
