Lickety Split was one of the original G1s that I bought with my saved pocket money.  Pink and pretty! It is interesting to see how the symbols and hair on other Lickety Splits have faded so much over time. I need to do a search at my folks' house to see if I can find my original one!

The purses are at our Entertainer too now, at least I assume they went out for Boxing Day but they are there anyway. They had Rarity, Twilight and one other but I forget who it was.

This is Entertainer in the Welsh Borders, not in London, as I;m still home at present.
Was in Entertainer today (Berkshire) and saw the purse ones - so bought Rarity at £9.99  ...and another wee pearly Coloratura at £3.75 (may possibly customise/enhance her with a partial white hair + tinsel reroot, not decided yet!) there was a whole end-display full of them - 30 maybe ! Also a Rainbow Dash POP pony kit for £4 to go with the others my little girl got for Christmas, she loves swapping their manes, tails and wings around!

I have a soft spot for white G1 unicorns, hence having Gusty, Majesty etc in my herd Yes, I believe the original G1 concept was perfection - small enough to take with you to play, large enough to handle and brush, put clothes on, the pretty features... but then I am biased hehe #growingUpInThe80s

Yaaaay! My Genie arrived today in the UK, safe and well! My 4-year-old little girl grabbed her and started introducing her to the little herd of G1s that I let her play with - I had to explain the Genie was delicate etc but I still let her hold her gently as she said hello to her new friends! It was so cute to watch! Genie's head rotates smoothly into inquisitive poses, I must get my camera out and set some scenes! She sure is a pretty one, I can't bring myself to customise her, so she's staying original!
