Hello there.  I'm Sparkle Pony, and I've been a fan of MLP for a few years now.  I decided that I should join this board, since I've admired it from afar for so long.  I would look at the old, archived version of the board and be amazed by the wonderful information, art, customizations, and restorations there.  I only own a few ponies: G3 Moondancer and Merriweather; G4 Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna; and finally a handful of G4 Blind Bag ponies.  I really love all the generations and hope to expand my collection and love for the series by getting involved with the fandom, so basically, nice to meet you!
