I wondered if that's what she was at first since I heard of fakies being made in pony molds before, the only thing that threw me off were the eyes. Good to know, I think I saw another one at the thrift store where I got her from too. Thanks!!

I definately could see a necklace working, I agree with everyone else about the balance of the back of the dress. Looks great so far  :)

So, I got this pony in a bag at the thrift store along with some other ones and when I pulled her out I noticed that shes just strange.. Maybe someone here has an idea why she looks so different and what she is? I think she is supposed to be a Divine Shine Glitterbelle. The first weird thing is that she has no symbol or cutie mark, nor does she have any trace of them being removed. She also only has one single row of hair plugs with only one color, unlike Glitterbelle who looks to have several rows and two colors with tinsel. There are also no stamps anywhere on the feet, which may be something hasbro did with the Divine Shine ponies because of the material they used?? I'm not sure. She could just be the work of a custom that never got finished and looks really odd, I guess I'm not too sure what to think, maybe one of you guys know? Here are her pictures:

I am looking to airbrush a few ponies and was curious to see what other customizers use for paint, I want it to have a flat/matte look and no shine, what brands do you use? And what kind of sealer do you use for the body paint and the sybol that is also a flat/matte appearance?
I was also curious about using epoxy but can't seem to find it, what brand(s) should I be looking for? Where can you find it in stores? (if I need to I will just order it online) And about how much should I get that would last for awhile?
I think thats it for now haha sorry that's a lot of questions. Thanks!!

This is my first brag, so I figured I would do one to show my finds for the weekend. I went to a few different thrift stores and was fortunate enough to find some great stuff to add to my collection and some baits too  :biggrin: ! I got most all of them cleaned up and here they are:

I have been trying to find bait ponies outside of ebay, where do you guys have the best luck finding them? I have found a couple at thrift stores, but that's it so far. I am looking more for the g3s to do customs with, any g1s I would prefer restoring if possible.

Hello all, my names Danielle. I'm 24 and living in Minnesota. I have meant to post an indtroduction for a little while now but I'm a busy mother of two girls under 2! I am currently a stay at home mom and am looking forward to getting involved in the pony community more. I started collecting g3s quite a few years ago and had g1s when I was growing up (I unfortunately sold the g1s) now I'm excited to get back into collecting again. I am also excited to get into customizing and have been reading posts from this website for great information and to see really beautiful work. I can't wait to get into the community and meet some of you other great pony lovers out there!
