Thank you for your advice it is greatly appreciated! I am willing to try to go where the cats are. They are about 2.5 hours away from me. The man feeding them still has not responded to me. He said he and his wife would pay for the vet expenses, so even if I knew exactly where they were I just cant go bring a dozen cats home with me. I cannot afford all their vet bills. I am willing to foster a few of the friendly ones. There are 5 freindly ones I have been told you can actually touch. The rest apparently are semi feral and cannot be touched so we will have to live trap them. I have 2 traps thats people will let me borrow.
 
BTW - I also have another question that maybe some one can answear for me. These cats have been outside for some time now, if their aids and leukemia tests come out positive is there any point of doing the rest of the vetting, to be returned outside? If they are released to a barn / farm area with aids or leukemia, wont I be making a situation worse? I dont want to infect other cats, or cause them long term pain and suffering. I have never trapped and released before so I am kind of flying by the seat of my pants on this and will welcome any help or advice!

Hi guys, I know this post is weird being here on the arena, but I thought I might reach some different people this way. A few days ago I was skimming my local craigslist and found a post that made me stop and think. Basicly long story short, a man lived on the same road as a church. He noticed that this church had a lot of cats surrounding it and started to talk to the pastor. Apparently a older man had died recently up the street for this man and the church and his family put his cats ouside. The church has decided that these cats must go now!
 
At first they wanted to shoot the cats to get rid of them, but the man talked them into letting him try to find homes for them first. He has been given 1 week to have them removed from the property or they will be shot if they cannot be caught. I have been in contact with the man feeding them and I have decided to try to help him out.
 
There are around 14 or so cats. 5 of them are very friendly and all black with gold colored eyes. 2 are long haired and the other 3 are short haired, and adults. The rest are feral to some degree. He is not able to touch or get close to the remaining ones. Now, this man and his wife are willing to pay for each cat to be given all the vet care they need! They are getting each cat spayed or neutered, all shots, nails clipped, flea medication applied and feline aids and leukemia tested. They wnat all these cats to find a home some wheres. I have a woman willing to take a few on her horse farm, and someone wnats one of the long haired black cats.
 
The cats are currently located in Port Jervis NY. Between them and myslef we are willing to drive the cats to there new homes! I wont go outside the north east, but I will go to PA, NY,VT,CT, MA and a few more states!

I'm interested with being penpals with any/all who want one.  I have to find something to do while I hang out hiding in my house all the time.  Between being disabled, hiding out from my ex all I do is talk to my dogs and stay locked up.  The idea of having someone else to talk to is nice even if I'm quite dull lol.

I would totally restore her, as shes hard to find! Her paint looks great, and her hair can be fixed pretty reasonably too! You paid 15.00$ for her, thats kind of alot imo for a bait pony. You can buy baits much more cheaply than that. I would keep her and continue your efforts to find a truly bait worthy pony!! Congrats of getting her! Shes lovely!
 
 
 
 

I really have no input on the shipping delays, but I hope you get your items! I know its frustating to keep waiting for you items to show up. You paid a lot of money to recieve nothing for it. I wish you the best of luck with this!

That's why I checked THREE of your auctions, to see if the greatly overpriced shipping charges were repeated -- and they were, on all three items I checked on -- which is why you got three different messages. I just couldn't believe an innocent "mistake" could be repeated so many times -- and don't worry, I won't be buying anything from you at any time ... I would have expected a different kind of response if you had simply made a mistake (as you say, your 'shipping calculator' weighed 10 ounces and then calculated over $33 postage)... and yes, I was/am upset because it would have been so easy to just bid on the My Little Pony item, and then ... What "Then"? I'm sure you've corrected this by now ... certainly you must have!
 
I have blocked this person, and have reported her/him for harassment.
 
If anyone was interested in bidding on my auctions, please be assured I will always do right by the buyer. I never over charge for shipping. I am trying to fix the shipping calculator but I am only human and am doing my best. Thank you everyone for all your help with this!!


 

I have been slowly listing some of my personal collection on ebay over the past month or so. Today I logged onto my ebay account to find three very unproffessional emails from an ebayer. I would like to know how I can block this person from my auctions? I am absolutly disgusted with this person.
Here are the emails they set to me. I am posting this here to warn other sellers/buyers.

To say the least I am quite upset about this! I have never scammed or over charged anyone in roughly 10 years! I have sent them this email back, just now.
 
Hello! Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I had no idea there was a mistake with my shipping calculator. I too am aware of some sellers on ebay being "shady" and doing things improperly. When I set all my auctions up I always weigh each item in their packaging that I will ship them in. I do this so I can get an acurate quote for shipping. The tiny tin pinkiepie will be shipped in a box, the total weight for this item and its packaging is 10 ounces.

This being said- I have 100 pecent feedback spanning many years. I do not like the way you are threatheing me, and harrassing me. If you have or choose to report me to ebay I will show them your messages to me as well. I cannot believe you are treating someone like this. You do not personally know me, or even tried to talk nicely about the shipping problem in question. I suggest in the future if you have a problem on ebay, you politly message the seller/buyer.

Please take the time to look at me recent feedback from my selling. I have never "tricked" anyone. I try to be very profffessional at all times. I have been collecting for around 10 years, and have never scammed or over charged on shipping. Or for anything for that matter. Please do not bother to bid on any of my auctions, as you will be blocked. I do not appreciate the way you have talked to me or your tone. Thank you for bringing this shipping matter to my attention.

Another thing I am wondering, why are my auctions inflatting the shipping so much? With each item I sell.. I get it in its packaging for shipping and weigh it. I then put this weight into the shipping section when I go to list the item. I had no idea why shipping is calculating so much!! I have never over charged on anything, I usually end up paying more then what I quote to my buyers. Which I have never complained about. I try very hard to be proffessional and answear all questions promptly and honestly. I have had several buyers sending me questions, and have had no problems what so ever! I do not why this person is behaving like this.
