Fakies aren't the same as knock offs, at least the ones I see here. Hasbro can't own the basic idea of "toy horse with hair" any more than Mattel can own the idea of "fashion doll". If a company wants to come up with its own molds (or put previous gen molds that the factory still has to use) then why not?
Also the resin ponies and custom plushies are different since for the most part they are handcrafted OOAK works of art and not factory produced rip offs.
This, plus as long as there is enough of a difference, between the toy another company is making, they can usually get away with it.

herbal essence works nicely or garnier fructis. leaves their hair nice and smells good too  When I first get something second hand, I like to use anti bacterial soap to bathe them.

I can't even draw a simple shape without messing it up
I love how the duck looks like a painted, wooden carving of a duck
and I love how the heron blends realism with an Asian wall hanging style. they are really lovely.
