I can confirm Fluttershy and Daisy Dreams glimmer wings, in CA. = ) Picked them up yesterday. I went back to check if her body was lighter than other Fluttershy's, but they are pretty close. I think maybe the glimmer wing one is a little less saturated color, though maybe minutely.
Thanks for sharing the pamphlets! I never open my G4s so I don't get to see them.
I've seen them all over the place in the Los Angeles area (including Pasadena and Glendale.) I'm not a big glimmerwings fan so I never picked them up but just about every Target I've gone to except the one closest to my house has them. I'm more freaking out over white Celestia. If there is a white Celestia I will be tempted to get it!

I just came back from the Target where I found my plushie. No plushies and almost no other ponies, the entire MLP section was nearly empty.
I think finding it was a fluke.

I've been rusty on customs. I had to give up painting for a while since I strained my wrists. I just did a simple repaint to get back into it. Started with a Cherry Spices and turned her into a lotus pony. I based her off Shinobazu Pond in Tokyo, famous for its August lotuses. This was also a photography exercise. Doing research for my senior thesis, I'm supposed to arrive at school with sources ready to go to write my thesis. Crossing my fingers I don't have to dip into Japanese language sources, translating takes so long!

My Target already had those plushies out and available, I bought Rainbow Dash about a week ago! I also saw Twilight Sparkle but those were the only two I saw.

Kimono! I'm biased though because of my area of study (Japan.)
2. Rarity G3 or Rarity G4?
I love G3 design but I have to go with G4. G4 Rarity reminds me of my sister in some ways.

A deep blue with a streak of light lavender.

No, unfortunately. I am gonna make a Target trip later though!
5. What is the weather like at your place, and are you enjoying it?
It's grey and super humid, we even got rain and thunderstorms! That's unheard of in Southern Californian summers! As long as I'm inside where it's nice and air conditioned I'm okay. c:

Bring everything FiM. Trotcon is very FiM-oriented.
Although I don't see why G4 versions of pre-G4 ponies wouldn't work. Some FiM fans are in it for nostalgia. There were lots of pony sellers at Anthrocon and Anime Expo this year and I was kinda bummed out only one booth per con sold pre-G4 stuff (Anime Expo booth sold pins and cellphone charms with Firefly and the Anthrocon booth had pre-G4 customs.)
The Doctor Who customs are worth bringing though. Doctor Who is pretty popular so those could sell.
