Pony Corral / Re: A glimmer of pony hope
« on: October 23, 2013, 07:09:35 AM »
That would be so exciting if you found them!  Make sure to post pictures if they are there!

When I moved 6 years ago (or thereabouts), we had a really awful moving company.  So many things were misplaced, and even stolen.  When my collection of G3s from when I was littler went missing, I feared the worst.  I was sure that they were among the stolen items.  About a year ago, my Mom found some boxes that were supposed to go to my room buried under some boxes that had been put in the attic, and my ponies were in there!  Not a single one was missing.  I cannot tell you how delighted I was.  So there certainly is hope for your ponies, too!

Pony Corral / Original Price of G1 Ponies?
« on: October 23, 2013, 06:12:59 AM »
I was just curious about how much the average G1 pony cost when they were new on store shelves.  How about G2?  It occurred to me a few minutes ago that I have no idea how much they originally were, and I think that it would be interesting to find out.  Thanks in advance!

I have a bunch of fandoms!  The main ones for me are The Beatles, Doctor Who, anime (more specifically Ouran Highschool Host Club and Fullmetal Alchemist, among others), and Adventure Time.

Pony Corral / Re: Equestria Girls Dolls - Are they Selling in Your Area?
« on: October 21, 2013, 08:28:45 PM »
They are selling very well around me.  You are lucky to find just two or three of them at the Walmart in my area, and they have been restocked.  The basic backs seem to be the ones that are selling the best, though the bigger packs are still moving.  Last time I was at the store there was only one Twilight and Sunset Shimmer pack left.

I have not seen the bigger ones any where but a convention I was at.  Unfortunately, I had already blown my budget buying Manga and MLP comic books by the time I saw them.  However, Claire's has a good selection of the smaller ones.  Hot Topic has the smaller ones, too.  I got Rarity at Hot Topic, and AJ at Claire's.  They were both around $10.

Off Topic / Re: Fun Fundraising!

I love the No Stirrups November idea!  I always start November without stirrups (not as a fundraiser, just for the heck of it), but I get distracted and stop.  Using it as a fundraiser is a really great idea.

My school is doing a pretty cool fundraiser.  I'm not involved, since I'm not going on the trip that the fundraising is for, but it sounds fun.  The kids in charge of the project settled on doing a "Battle of the Bands".  A bunch of kids from surrounding towns are bringing their bands for the chance to perform for a big audience.  A few of the teachers are going to do silly performances like Weird Al stuff, too.  I'm impressed at how well it is coming together.  One of my best friends is the one putting it together, mostly.

Mulan has always been my favorite!  I cannot begin to tell you how many times I watched my Mulan VHS tape when I was little.  She is my favorite because she is so brave and awesome.  I also love her horse!

I just really, really like the Beatles!!  Well, it's more of an obsession really!  I use this name on other websites, too.  It is one of my favorite Beatles songs, and it just lends itself to being a nickname anyway.

I'm trying to dry out inside of her now (she got wet inside) and her head won't come all the way off...

I had a really strange dream about the Beatles a while back.  Also One Direction, which is odd because I don't dislike them, but I'm not a super fan either.  I like them I guess (they have some fun songs for parties and all), I just don't love them.
When it started, I was in the photography classroom at my school, but it had been converted into a mini cafeteria.  I was about to go buy some food, when One Direction came in looking confused.  I went over to explain the cafeteria system to them, and we ended up hanging out and having quite a nice time.  Niall and I were planning on going to get ice cream, actually.  And then THE BEATLES came into the room.  They looked like how they looked in 1968 or so.  Being the crazed Beatle-maniac that I am, I awkwardly apologized to One Direction (they were rather sad), and started going over to the Beatles.  Apparently the mini cafeteria was really confusing, because Paul asked me to explain it to him
John asked me if I wanted to come sit with them, and of course I said yes, but George and Ringo seemed kind of annoyed that I was joining them.  George was especially unhappy about it, and kept whispering to John that they "had to talk" and couldn't with me there.  I kept trying to get George to approve of me, but nothing worked.  John kind of just ignored him.  I got along best with John, and he asked me if I wanted to get ice cream with him.
I awkwardly went over to One Direction to tell them that I was going with John for ice cream, and they got very indignant.  Niall was all like "but WE were going to get ice cream!" and they were all accusing me of being disloyal and selling out because the Beatles were more talented and famous.  I woke up right after I apologized and was about to leave with John.

It was a very strange dream!  At first when I woke up I was excited because I had a dream with the Beatles in it, and then I felt guilty for ditching One Direction, and then I was sad because George didn't like me, and I desperately wanted him to approve of me.  I'm sure this crazy dream means something, but who knows what!

I'll get pictures up as soon as I can.  In the mean time, is there a way to tell if it is just a scuff or if it is cancer?  I think it looks like a scuff, but I've never seen pony cancer in person, and it is hard to tell since it is near all the stars on her body so it blends in.  It is just one really little spot that looks kind of smudgy.

Also, what is the best way to clean her without getting her full of water if her head is kind of loose.

Thanks for the help!
