I am loving the sock dress!  Almost makes me want to start experimenting on my own.  But I don't sew.  For a loss of 30 cents a dress though, I should try :)

Thanks for the reply, SurfStar!  I really didn't want to have to ask (admit I'm an idiot) again >_<

Well, 1600 Clawd is no $20 doll at the moment.  It figures the first doll I'm having this problem with is a kinda rare doll.  He's no Howleen, but he is a male, which makes him "worth" more (Ebay standards.)  Oh well.  I'm not too broken up.  It makes his styling to be much easier    I'm just sad because if you want him, you have to PAY for him, and that's for a defective doll.  Could one find a 1600 Clawd made outside of Indonesia?  Or are certain lines made in certain countries?

Oops!  Sorry October    I had to catch up on five? pages of posts and I've been drinking alittle

DT Ghoulia is an awesome doll.  Although her hair still has a different texture, it's long and straight, which I find is a good combo for her hair type.  Short and curly?  Not so much.  DT Ghoulia is one of my favorite dolls.  SS Ghoulia?  Not so much.  I tried and tried with her hair.  I just couldn't get in right.  Good news?  I get a second shot with the SS 5 pack, whenever that gets released.

I can almost guarantee it ^^   Two off topic, unrelated to each other, questions:

This glue seepage thing.  Is the glue visible?  I think my 1600 Clawd has it (his hair is sticky, and won't wash out) but I don't see anything.  I see the plug separation, but his hair is short to begin with, so the plugs are more visible anyway.

What could I use to remove acrylic paint from saran hair?  Acetone?  Paint remover?  Brush Cleaner?  I don't want to damage the saran.

So much to talk about!  First: someone asked if SS Ghoulia has the same hair texture as Rochelle.  She does not!  SS Ghoulia has the worst hair IMO.  I cannot get in to do anything!  Plus Ghoulia has a different hair type than the rest of the girls.  So nothing alike!

The "snapping" Ghouls Rule shoes:  If you look at ANY prototype photo, you'll notice this "snapping" shoe thing.  I remember being disapointed everytime I've seen prototype photos, because of this, but when the dolls get released they end up having the flexible shoes.  No worries!

When I collect, I COLLECT.  I knew from the start, if I get one, I get them all.  I've never collected dolls before, or ponies, so it all started with MH for me.  Now I'm eyeing a BJD (in the dollhouse) for sale.  That's right.  Straight from MH to a BJD.  My husband is gonna kill me!

Before I start complaining about the newest CAM wigs, I'd like to start by saying I'm a fan of CAM wigs. I use them exclusively. I've never been too disappointed with them, until now. I don't know if they changed the type of hair or what, but these new wigs are terrible. Maybe it's the way they were cut. I had to chop the werecat wig so that the hair barely passes her chin before her hair was even all around. And the vampire wig! I had a pile of black hair on the floor before I was done with his! I feel like a hairdresser. Also I had to boil straighten the werecat wig twice before I was happy. And now I love them! But it was quite a challenge to get to this point. Any hair experts know if they changed the hair type? Also my werecat has REALLY thin hair. Did I get a bum pack, or is this the norm?

This is an incredibility helpful thread for those of us who are a little overwhelmed by BJDs.  Looking at other threads full of pictures of beautiful dolls, has me wanting to get one.  It's nice to have so much info in one place.

I don't like making major changes to my dolls.  I figure somewhere down the line Mattel will release a Rochelle with short hair.  I just hope that happens really soon, because Tuney has me eyeing the hair trimmers >_<

I've never been tempted by a BJD.....until now.  Wow, I love her.  Way outta my price range, and I don't know the first thing about these dolls, but she is just awesome.

I've never seen that wig the CAM Lab Add On ghoul is wearing.  Wonder where that came from?  Also, if you look closely at that set, it looks like there is an ankle braclet, or something molded to the leg. Or I could be seeing things

ETA:  That website above also lists CAM Lab STARTER sets, as well.  Maybe they'll have similar upper arms and thighs to the unicorn for you all

Just viewed all the new dolls on Ebay.  Shocked that I'm loving the green in Ghoulia's Roller Maze hair.  Lagoona's Roller Maze doll is sporting the same hand mold she had in her 2.0 release! Yay!  I love different hand molds :)

Love the gem in her forehead.  It's a nice touch.  Something I'd want my doll to have, if I collected them.  Plus, green hair = love!

I also popped a couple holes in the CAM wigs and pushed the pegs of the ears through.  But I kept the clip parts and used them to pinch the ears to the wig.  Makes for ears that are a little less loose.  Just a little though.  I love doing it that way because it gives you sooo much flexability.  I like to turn the ears sometimes, like the doll heard something to the left!
