MLP Nirvana / Re: MOC Argie green lickety split- for sale
« on: May 01, 2012, 01:24:45 PM »
I had one that I decarded myself on the 80's and she didn't have any of these issues. It semms that it happens because of being inside of the card for so long with the humidity caused by scented symbols

I've had a white lickety with the same spots and I decarded her, spots turned to be mold and they increased with time. Apparently when they packed the pony some humidity from smelly symbols remained and it spreads all around the pony causing this mold

paseo medley and it's not that I disagree with the prices on your site rel, but market is crazy lately so I think is better to ask :)

Btw are you sure masquerade is 70 - 80? I've seen her going to 100 sometimes. Just to make sure, don't take it to the wrong way

Hi everypony!!

I'm needing price check for these girls! they are awesome except for some small details. My intention is to trade one of the adults for ponies on my want list and put the other two for sale. I hope someone can trade hehe.

Kitty :p: Her name is Bosnia, she brings you the mail to the bed and loves to chew pony hair :D

Masquerade: Great condition. Her hair is awesome! soft and silky, she only lost the last plug from her mane which can be also a factory error, very common in argies. Her symbols and eyes are gorgeous, she only has a minimal plastic scratch near her neck and I detected some ingrained dirt near her ears

Baby gusty: Awesome hair too, not a single cut or missing plug. She has some ingrained dirt on her right side and a mini dot on the right side of her diaper

Medley: Great condition! mane is super silky, her tail has some dryness at the ends. Her symbols have some minor wear, specially on her right side where one of the music notes lost a small part.

Pony Corral / Re: Valuable Childhood Ponies in Your Collection?
« on: April 09, 2012, 04:19:19 PM »
I grew up in argentina and borned in 1985, so you can imagine!
One of my first toys were 4 little ponies that my father bought me when I was 4: yellow peachy with orange hair, dark blue baby sparkler, shy pose wind whistler and baby sunnybunch.
During the years my grandmother also made me a little pony collection, she gave me sugarberries, felicidades, baby moondancer, confetti and baby gusty as gift. Last 3 to come were shy pose tuneful, lickety split and baby snippy . I didn't have any idea that argie ponies were so valuable until I decided to collect my little ponies a few years ago so I lost some of my  childhood originals (I only kept sugarberries, gusty, moondancer, confetti and snippy) but then I could recover them thanks to ebay and the arena  :)
I almost sell sugarberries years ago, a lady offered me $100 for her and I said, no way! It's a grandma's gift! now that I think about it, thank god I said no! lol

That is so awesome! I'm drooling over your yellow w/ orange hair Peachy/Snuzzle!

He thanks sweetie! I had luck being born here lol. On the 80's you could only find argie ponies around there, I clearly remember seeing the toyshops full of arco iris ponies and playsets. A few years later, around 90's when top toys closed Hong Kong ponies started get the old argie's space
