I'm waiting on a reply from the seller at the moment. She takes her time...I really don't understand how you can sit around and do nothing when there's a case open on one of your auctions.

Oh, and I have another question: The Ebay page of the open case says that it will close automatically on May 11th. What happens if the seller doesn't reply until then?

I'm having problems with a seller again and maybe you can give me some advice?
 
I bought a G1 baby on Ebay at the beginning of march, paid the day the auction ended (via Paypal) and didn't hear anything for about two weeks. Then I got a message from the seller's brother (so he said!) that his sister had an accident and was in hospital. He would look after her auctions now and would send me the pony.
 
Of course I was okay with that and was understanding. Family comes first, I said, and told him to take his time, but please mark the item as shipped when he had shipped. He did so on March 19th. Ever since I had no communication and I haven't received the pony.
 
A few days before the Paypal deadline ran out I send him a message asking for my item and when he didn't reply after some days I opened a case. The seller didn't respond again and just before his deadline was up, I received a nasty message. He or she, I don't know if it's the real seller or her brother, stated that he/she had sent me dozens of messages stating that the pony had been returned to him/her twice and that he/she is not willing to ship again.
 
I have never received a message from this seller! There is none in my Ebay inbox and there was none in my Paypal address mailbox. So he/she must be lying about that. Can I prove this to Ebay? Can they at least check my Ebay inbox?
 
I requested tracked shipping, so he/she must be able to provide a tracking number to prove the story, right? I also checked my address provided on Ebay and on Paypal, they're both correct. So I haven't done anything wrong, have I?
 
Do you think Ebay will side with me? What will happen if he/she put the wrong address on the package? That's not my fault, is it? I wouldn't have to pay the extra shipping, would I? And what can I do if Ebay sides with the seller? Am I allowed to leave a negative or a neutral then or is this against the Ebay rules?

Sorry that I haven't been here the last few weeks - work is awful at the moment! :/
 
I will do the wrapping this weekend and will ship on Monday. I'm sorry that this is the last day of the shipping deadline, but I'm still waiting on an extra for my partner and I really hope it will show up today or tomorrow!

I'm a member in Sternenstaub's forum and I only know her as a very reliable person. I have both bought from and sold to her, we also did some trades and everytime there were no problems at all. She would never rip off people! So I hope that everything will work out here.

The seller isn't really willing to help me. She would fix the custom for me again if I paid the shipping costs which I won't do. So, I'm done with her! It's quite sad because that isn't the first custom she has done for me, but I've had enough!  :mad:

I'm very glad though that BerryMouse is helping me to fix it!  :hug:  And thanks to the longer deadline I'm now able to get two more items for my partner!  :biggrin:

Update: I sent her an E-Mail to her Paypal address and she replied quickly. She said that things weren't going so well for her the last weeks. So she gave me my money back and said she would get back to me when things are better. I could decide then if I still wanted her to do the custom.

I think that's quite fair and I'm really happy that I don't have to leave a neutral or negative feedback!

Perhaps you don't want people in the swap helping, but I could help if you'd like some help, I'm a customizer. I'm so sorry this has happened to you :( if this turns nasty, you should write to a mod about it and possibly also in TS. :hug:

Posting in the trader support won't do any good as she is not a member of the Arena. And thank you for your offer to help! :) I will send you a PM - I don't want to tell here what kind of custom it is. I don't want my partner to read this because of the surprise. ;)

I really don't know what to do now. I would try to fix the custom myself, but I'm not a customizer myself and I want the custom to be perfect. :/ What really makes me angry though is that the person wants me to pay shipping back to her again. And really, why should I do this? It's not my fault that it broke.

Oh dear, I'm having problems with one of the customs I wanted to get for my partner. I had some commissioned to do it and it turned out great. But the person shipped in a padded envelope and the custom broke. So I send it back to her to fix it. She fixed the custom, stuffed it in a box that was too small and the custom broke again. I'm so frustrated right now! But it's really good to know that we have the extra time. So I hope I'll be able to sort this out in time!  :|

Thanks, partypony566!  :hug: It's good to know that I'm not the oly one that is nervous about ponies still being in the post and the deadline in general.
 
@LilSpark: Oh dear, that really sounds awful! I hope things will be better for you soon and that your terrible roommate will move out as quickly as possible.
 
Oh, and I would really appreciate longer deadline! (Sorry to those who can't wait to ship!) 2 or 3 weeks do sound great to me. :)
