I don't care for head body mismatch in G1s. I don't care for haircuts, marker, mold and symbol rubs. The worst for me though is cat pee. When a pony arrives covered in cat pee nothing helps it. Argh
My Munchy arrived covered in cat wee (to my horror) and filled with brown slimy stuff inside. I gave her several Vanish baths - I think the overseas equivalent is Oxiclean? And scrubbed her hair with shampoo and left conditioner in to soak several times. She also sat on the shelf for a few weeks. There is no smell left now. As to flaws: I don't like anything I can't fix or hide. So major head/body mismatch. Regrind. Highlighter marks. Symbol rust. Pony Cancer. And suchlike. I also prefer my ponies to be as near original as possible, so no rehairs or repainting of symbols for me please. However, if a pony has been rehaired or repainted in an alternate colour scheme then I might be interested. Rather make it obvious that this is not the original pony if that makes sense?

I love this thread! Here is my contribution: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMunchy is lying on the floor because she arrived covered in cat wee. True. First pony I have ever received that has had an immediate Spa Day. Inside she was full of some brown slimy stuff: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd here she is now: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThat is a donor tail she is wearing there from a poor Cherries Jubilee that had been chomped up by a dog. Cherries is still with me, but now she is a Spring pony called Cherry Blossom and is sporting a whole new Look. My first attempt at customisation, which I might one day be brave enough to show in the correct forum.

There is one thing that bugs me about Hasbro in the G1 line: Why did they release different ponies with the same name? Take Bright Eyes as a random example. Could they not have thought up a new name for the new pony? I mean, really? Grrrr.

June is my birth month, of course I need her: both versions Other than that she is a really lovely pony, that I would very much like to join my herd one day. Will probably have to import her though: in SA you generally buy what there is on sale as there isn't much of a selection. Oh boy are ponies hard to find here (feeling sorry for self *sobsob*)

I collect G1, though a few G3 have somehow joined them. Sneaky ponies!

Was the head loose? A child might have put that in it.
No, it was still glued on Post Merge: May 30, 2017, 09:37:58 AMThank you everyone for your help and input, I really appreciate it! It would be great if we could find out what the 'scribble' means . I put the paper back into Gusty once she was completely dry; it seemed to be the right thing to do. It is hers after all.

perhaps a note from the factory? wish i could help you out more, but maybe you can find out what it says.
I am hoping that someone on the Arena might be able to help with that at the very least: I certainly can't read it
