Okay, so I have used my primitive Google skills and had no luck.  Even tried Ghost of the Doll - but I think these are too new to be there.
 
I have a pink-bodied doll, about 10" who is covered in glitter and has tinsel in her pink hair.  Also has some kind of microphone/headset accessory is an earring.  The limbs are very arched and curved - much like Monster High... 
 
I also have a purple-bodied doll with silver tinsel in her gray/purple hair. 
 
The dolls have 2009, Mattel, Made in Indonesia on their lower backs but nothing else.  I will take pictures, but maybe someone has a direction to point me in?  Help! 

I agree that the G4s are too small for the price tag already - making them $50-80 because of being a convention exclusive is really pushing it.  However... it IS the current new show and the fans are rather eager to purchase anything FIM, so it would not faze me in the least to see Hasbro give it a try.  I definitely see it either as a total success or a total failure...  maybe they would release a combo pack of ponies or something to make it extra special - or white Celestias!  Those are already limited runs... they know collectors are dying to buy properly depicted character toys...  THAT would be a great idea. 

Both look so cozy and warm!  How do I choose?
