It requires LOTS of persistence!  You're not just going to walk into a secondhand shop and leave with exactly what you were looking for - not always, anyway.  ;)  It's always a hunt - that's part of the fun! 

I have found hundreds of G3s at thrift stores over the years - most of them I left for others to enjoy.  I have also found plenty of G1s, but you just have to stop in the store every once in awhile and see how it plays out.  :)

Oh dear.  :(  Well, you did the right thing to open a Paypal/Ebay claim!  Hopefully it's just that she's a little behind on shipping again and waiting for some Paypal funds to come through.  Not that that is a good excuse, but it is becoming more common now that Paypal holds money so long for sellers.  Let us know how things work out for you!  *pony hugs*

All swaps require some Arena feedback to join - you can easily do some trades or sell a few ponies here to get feedback.  :)  I am sure there will be a few spring-themed swaps coming up soon.  In the meantime... you have time to save up for participating.  Shipping is always pricey for these things...
