I think that rehairing and repainting symbols is the right thing to do if it would make you enjoy her more. Sometimes, the restoration process will make you bond with a pony to the point of you never being able to sell! I would always do with my collection as pleases me as a collector most, not what I would think is worth more to others.  If I ever do restore, I make sure to let people know if I ever sell. That's the most important part

Hey everyone! I'm back from a long collecting hiatus - I thought at this point I'd be selling my collection, but it turns out I still love the hobby too much to let it go! You can see my collection on the website linked from my siggy. Some of the ponies (especially the rare ones) on my website has been sold, but I am currently separated from my collection and can't remember which I sold!  I have been collecting everything from G1 - G4 but this time around I've decided to focus on G1. Glad to bee back!

Hiya there fellow ponies! I am thinking of letting this girl go. I love her beautiful colours, but I cannot justify her living in a plastic bin anymore, and I could really use the money. As you can see, she has had a forelock cut, but her hair and tail are super silky at least. Her body colour is very "splotchy" - not the same colour throughout but with lighter patches here and there. On pic two, this is most evident beneath her symbols, and there is also a faded darker mark. Marks and scratches on body.
