I was definitely on the "nasty" side when I saw Shining Armour and unfortunately his mane and tail do have that horrible troll hair texture. But....[preparing to duck fakies] I actually think it works for him - just look, dont touch. Maybe its because I have my lovely handsome G1 boys with their long flowing locks so I have my "Fabio" quotient filled but I dont mind this on SA and I "think" I might be able to live with it if thats their plan for other boys...

Pretty much, I don't own any of them It's a tax problem here; toys and electronics get over 100% of their value added to it's price; the government does it so we would be more likely to buy stuff that's made here, the problem is: brazilian manufacturers think it's fair to charge the same price over their own products, so everything gets overpriced... Here in Brazil each playful pony cost around R$30.00, that's around US$15.00
Each fashion style pony is R$80.00 (US$45.00) and talking Celestia costs R$124.00, that's over US$50.00

That's most likely a rehair; back in the day, Estrela used to have a doll hospital so they would take the toy back to be repaired; Brazilian pony hair is so dry they would frizz after a week outside theys cards, and so the kids would send the pony to get a new hair; but in that case the hair would have the factory weave, if I remember correctly... She looks pretty with green hair, makes her a nationalist pony
