Thanks Firehooves & Griffin  ! Griffin = I really appreciate those words. This art is also being posted to my DeviantART account and no one over there is giving a rat's butt about it. Sure, I'm getting a few faves, but no comments what so ever  . I swear in that site if you don't draw G4 style, people see it as not worth noticing. Started up working again on page 4 after having taken a break from it last night, early in the morning. I told Firehooves this in a PM, today is going to be busy, and I'd rather for digital art focus on starting page 5, than finishing page 4. ..It's amazing I don't really feel the need to have caffeine right now. The work to finish page 4 started back up around 6am. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I'm sorry for not showing a photo earlier of the Pinkie Pie, but I have a bad connection. You wouldn't believe how long it took for my computer to simply access Photobucket. Here's the figure in question along side a McDonalds Pony. At a flea market in early Nov. I saw what looked to be a jumbo G3 MLP. It was about the size of the G1 plushes. Online I can't find any references to it. Has any one seen one of these? I didn't buy it because it was in bad shape and I didn't think I could fix it up.
Now on the polar opposite in size I have a Pinkie Pie that is also a G3, but it's completely plastic with it's legs formed together, and it fits in the palm of an adult's hand. What variation is this?

How'd you manage to find them? Or were they yours as a child?
Some of those G1s are from my childhood, but some others are from eBay & Goodwill . By the way I finally got my Creamsicle Giraffe in the mail the other day. Would you guys like to see it? It's in great shape.

I watch a group on DeviantART that sadly is regularly abused by submissions not related to it. As the result of seeing the latest insult to another fandom I enjoy, I've started making some new fan art for it that does show two fantasy horses. Now I remember as a kid I believed for the longest time a plushie I had, I thought belonged to this other fandom, but in fact I learned later was a My Little Pony.
It's with my childhood mistake over the toys I'm wondering if I could post this art meant for the other fandom here, and see how many of you recognize what in pop culture it belongs to. May I?

I'm not sure which orange pony you are referring to so I'll state both. (Behind) Butterscotch in creative customized restoration, and (side) Half Note. With Twilight Sparkle, while that pony has no orange ponies near it, shortly behind it by a little is Pumpkin Tart. That's a nice collection. It looks like you never really stopped collecting through the years. Awesome!
Actually I did, but it was a forced stop. I guess you didn't see the intro post I made where this got explained, but that's ok, I'll relay it here too what happened. Back at the dawn to the nineties I kept looking for ponies on the toy shelves in stories and found none. I didn't give up looking till '92, and it wasn't until the boom in popularity of G4 that I noticed MLP's return. Some how I missed noticing when G2 & G3 came about. Enjoying MLP as much as I do, places like eBay and a near by ... no no not near ..it's 44 miles away .. a flea market about a half an hour's drive away, those places are where some of these missing gap ponies have come from .

Thanks every one for your compliments ! But not all generations are pictured here . I forgot to add into the grouping my one so far G2 pony, Ivy. I forgot that one since it's a Magic Motion type, so it doesn't get stored with the rest. I fear damaging it because I'm told it's easily breakable. Originally I was going to show Ivy with Creamsicle Giraffe when it comes in, but this post has made me feel the need to reply now: Morning Glory was one of my childhood ponies too! And yours still has her wings! Yourcollection is adorable!
Those are not Morning Glory's original wings. It's a custom job I did a while back ..hee hee Morning Glory is now a cyborg pony! Those wings are medal. Here's Ivy: visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I'm going to make a new topic post just after this posting in this area of the forum since I can't really picture where else in the forum to place it. Look for a topic named "My Little Pony: United", that's going to be the story. I actually forgot of all things that I made this in early July. The ponies I want simply fall under categories and not really to certain ones. I would also like it noted to people I have very little money and have never won a bidding war with eBay. Also when I shop for them, I normally spring for shipping being paid for. ...I hope you realize now what I mean by being poor now. My ponies are I guess a comfort, and some thing that makes me feel good in bad times since they've always been around (why I collect).
Now for the current list:
-G2 ponies, any pony but "Ivy" since that's the only one I own.
-The Rockin' Beat Ponies, any but "Half Note" since I already have that one.
-Any of the Dutch Ponies from the mid-90's
-Baby Ember (I know there is more than one kind of Baby Ember).
-Any So Soft pony in good shape
-Any Twinkle Eye ponies
-Any Adventure Boy ponies, Big Brother ponies, or Mountain Boy ponies
-Princess ponies except "Princess Ruby" since I have that one
-Any Bushwoolie
-Any Brush n' Grow pony but "Braided Beauty" since I have that one
-Any Sparkle pony
-Schooltime ponies (although I don't know the name, I do have one in mind I believe comes from this line. It's cutie mark puts it as an artist.)
-Any G3 that lights it's body up
