I actually already have Jackson and Deuce, I just want all of the non-lab CAM stuff. >.> Maybe it'll be easier if I throw pokeballs at them?

Has anyone seen the Vampire/Gargoyle CAM packs recently? I didn't pick one up earlier and I"m kicking myself for missing it. I'd really rather not pay scalper prices for them either. ;.; I'm hoping Blob/Ice girl will show up around here again. I keep on seeing Gargoyle/Mummy so they should show up at some point.

I just use regular shampoo. sometimes I'll use conditioner, and if the doll or pony I get has SUPER RATTY HAIR OF ICK then I'll use deep conditioner.

Oh wow. I thought that was a Cutie Pops dress. sorry for my mistake. I don't follow Bratz a whole lot. >.>

One way to help get your dolls hair to lay flat better is by covering it with something after you wash it and let it dry. I typically use a bit of stocking or tulle and tie it around a doll's head if I want it to stay down. That helps a lot.

Found my next project :) Totally "borrowing" this idea :) Does anyone know what dress this is, though??

The dress is from one of the  Cutie Pops dolls. I think it's the second wave Chiffon dress. The second wave of dolls, which is when they introduced Caramel, are in those sparkly lame dresses.

elonni- if you're referring to the glittery eyeshadow on the doll posted by Maniah, that's a custom. the real thing might not have that much glitter on her eyeshadow so you might not have to do that.

I'm hopping that Catty has a different facemold from the Twins and Catrine.

Hey. Does anyone here need wave 2 Lagoona? I know of a place that has 3 but I wanted to check before I picked them up.

I'd LOVE to see Lala in an actual lolita outfit though, and not just lolita inspired stuff. I think it'd be really cute. The closest she's come is the Sweet 1600 outfit (which really had a bit more of a Gal look to it with her hair) and the School's Out Lala/Clawd 2-pack, which once more had yellow in it and was really more inspired than anything.

I'd love to see Draculaura in an actual lolita outfit as well. <3 I'm a sucker for the gothic lolita style. xD
Monster High is now in Japan, right? I think it would be neat if there was a special Draculaura that wore either a Gothic Lolita or Sweet Lolita outfit, even if it ended up being a Japan exclusive (....which I totally hope doesn't happen. xD)

Oh my... I hope they never make a Japan exclusive doll. It's difficult enough from EU and Aussie people to get a hold of some of the store exclusives we have in the US... Just imagine if there was a Japan exclusive? Especially because it'd wind up being super expensive for EVERYONE. I love some of the Japanese dolls like Takara Jenny/Licca, Pullip and Blythe, but even Jenny and Licca who are playline dolls like Barbie and MH are super expensive to import. ;.;

*gothloli fistbump*
Can I join in on the gothloli fistbump?

I really like both of these I<3 shoes dolls. Though I do wish that they would stop putting yellow on Lala. Really now guys? Why do you guys think yellow looks good with pink? Ugh.... I love her little retro 50's ish look though. And Cleo's outfit and hair are just to die for.

And BowTie, there's a girl who did a tutorial for twinning MH dolls on Tumblr that showed that you just have to pull the leg back and snip the peg with some wire cutters or something similar. I don't know if that'll work with the Siren tail though, since I haven't even taken my Siren out of her package yet. >.>

Speaking of the scaris car, has anyone else noticed that some are dark purple and others are light? Is it just a color variation or is there a reason for it?

It's probably just a variation in the colour of the plastic. Sometimes a batch might come out a little darker than another just due to how much dye someone puts in. It's kind of like how when you're sewing something people say to get all of your fabric you need at once, because two bolts of similar fabric might come from different dye/print lots.

Yay! I came home from work tonight with a bunch of stuff! *dance* Picked up Scaris Clawdeen from work, and went to Target and picked up the SS 5pack, as well as the easter Lalaloopsey and a target limited skylander figure. Yay! So now my SS set is complete save for Gil (which I will probably never have unless I can find someone selling him for a reasonable amount. ;.;) and my Scaris set is only missing Rochelle and Abbey. *dance* I might print off the add and swing by Walmart tomorrow to try to grab Rochelle.

Yesterday was my Birthday and I had yet another doll filled birthday! Yay! I went out to lunch with two of my friends and they gave me DC Operetta and Lagoona, and my BF gave me the DDG 3 pack. Another friend of mine gave me a gift card to Target since she didn't know what I had already. So yay! I also opened up my Scaris 2-pack and my DC Howleen last night. Getting so much closer to having a full set. ^^

animal_lover, from what I understand, Mattel doesn't take ideas from outside sources. If you wanted to work with them you'd have to be employed by them first.

Gigi is kind of cute... I'll be getting her but personally she isn't what I see as a 'genie'. I still need to get hair to rehair my genie/djin custom. She's got more of a fire-elemental theme to her since djin mythology has them being as powerful elementals. Her clothes even have a blue-to-yellow variegation to look like flames kind of. And her hair is variegated from yellow to dark red too. >.> And her skin is pretty damn yellow-orange. lol. It will be interesting to have her and Gigi side by side. Too bad now I have to figure out another name for her, since both Jina and Gigi have been taken by mattel. >.>

I picked up the Scaris 2-pack today! Yay! I'm actually surprised there was a set left on the shelf because we had a couple of collectors in at work today. >.> I wound up texting my BF to see if he'd gotten my b-day present yet, since if he had, and he'd gotten it at TRU, I wouldn't have gotten the 2-pack today, just in case. lol
