So did everyone see the newly announced Amiibos? There's Robin, Lucina, Wario, Charizard, PacMan, and Ness. I'm not super psyched about this wave. I like playing as Robin, but I don't know anything about his game, so I don't know if I want his figure. Charizard I'll need eventually because he's a pokemon, but he's not as exciting just because there's so much pokemon merch already. All the others I can pass on.

I went to Target yesterday to try and pre-order Rosalina, because I had it in my head somehow that they sell pre-order cards for her. (Hint: They don't.) The employee in the electronics department there said to get there early morning on release day if I want her because there's someone who has bought 300 of the Amiibos to scalp. I wasn't really clear if he meant in this particular town, or that there was just someone out there in general, but it sucks either way. But Target is pretty much an hour's drive from me, and I work, so I'm probably not going to be able to get there on release day at all, let alone right when they open!

Omg, so many new Zelfs and they're all so amazing! I'm torn between total excitement because omg these are awesome, and stress because I haven't found all of the last wave yet! Around here, it seems like you get one shot with the Zelfs-- you'll see the new wave at TRU once, but that'll be it, so you better grab all the ones you want right then, and hope they have the full set on the shelves!

I especially like that Tiki zelf, he's pretty cool. And that sea dragon has such an awesome face! Really though there aren't any that I don't love. Cleocat is amazing. I'll be joining the list of people that need her! I lost my beloved black cat back in October. One of the pictures I have of her is from Halloween the year before, when I dressed her up in a Pharaoh costume. She looked quite a  bit like Cleocat! So Cleocat is special to me because of that....I really hope I can find one! >.<

I'm pretty picky about my Funkos since so many of them have such bad flaws, but against my better judgment I ordered Celestia and Luna online during Hot Topic's last sale. Hearing about Celestias that couldn't stand, Lunas with broken tails, and bent horns all around didn't ease my worries any! They arrived today, and I was so relieved to see that both Celestia and Luna are actually really nice with no major flaws. Luna is just absolutely gorgeous all around. Her hair is so amazing and she's just perfect overall! Celestia is nice too, but I really don't like the cheap brittle plastic feel of her hair! I suppose it was for stability reasons, but if Luna can stand without toppling I'd think Celestia would be able to too! I'm also not a fan of the pink in her hair. It's too dark and makes the whole figure look kind of muddy. I almost feel like her hair should be semi-translucent to give it that ethereal look like it has in the show.

Oooh exciting! Fiber optics, yes please! And I would love to see crystal-themed Zelfs!

I'm still trying to track down ones from the most recent wave too! I still never found Owlmanda, and I need Pandela, Billy, and Manny. I wish TRU was better about restocking the new ones!

Amiibos aren't supposed to be region locked, so the Japanese ones should work just fine :)

Well, my search wasn't very successful! I checked TRU, WalMart, Gamestop, and Best Buy. They were all pretty wiped out as far as Skylanders and Amiibos went. I was surprised, TRU always has TONS of Skylanders, but their section looked like it hadn't been restocked since before Christmas. Same with Zelfs and MLP. No Pit anywhere. I did get Link at TRU, Zelda at Gamestop, and the Skylander Trail Blazer at Best Buy. So I didn't come home completely empty-handed, but I didn't find as much as I was looking for, either! Hopefully the shops will restock soon!

Plus, since my Pokemon days, I have more than enough trading cards to last for awhile lol

Haha, this, so much!

I'm going to a bigger town today so I'm really hoping I'll be able to find a Pit. Or Link. I'd even take Zelda or Kirby as a consolation prize. I just remembered that I don't actually have the Wii U version of Smash Bros yet, but my birthday is this month, so I will :P And I have Mario Kart and Hyrule Warriors, so I could still do SOMETHING with them in-game in the meantime.

Hoping to find new Skylanders and Zelfs too...wish me luck!

I just finished the Delta episode.
Spoiler
Super brutal to make you catch two legendaries (with a rival fight in between!) without a chance to save. I can't tell you how many times I had to restart because I accidentally killed the Deoxys!

I had to completely stop playing for a while because I was so swamped with Christmas preparations and projects! Now hopefully I can track down some pokemon I actually want! I finished the game with mostly the pokemon I started out with-- my Torchic, Ralts, Pocheyna, Surskit, and even my HM slave Makuhita (who of course by now are Blaziken, Gardevoir, Mighteyna, Masquerain, and Hariyama) But yeah, I've swapped pokemon in and out of the 6th spot on my team, but largely the Pokemon Ive been using were just the first ones I met, because this game doesn't have many of the ones I like I guess. I never did find a good electric pokemon, for example. I always have an electric pokemon! No Mareep or that little zebra, if I wanted an electric type I had to either take Electrike or Plusle/Minin :( But I have the National Dex now so hopefully there will be better pokemon out there. And I'm trying to hunt down the mega stones as well.

It's called Heritage of the Wolf...please tell me I wasn't the only one howling along with them?

Omg THANK YOU!!! I've been trying to find the name of that song for YEARS!

Oh geez, there have been some good ones! Off the top of my head:

-The Last Unicorn
-Man's Road (The Last Unicorn)
-Thunderella's Song (Snow White: Happily Ever After)
-Spark Inside Us (Princess and the Goblin)
-This Is My Idea (Swan Princess)
-Once Upon a December (Anastasia)
-In The Dark of the Night (Anastasia)
-Dressed like a Dream (My Little Pony)

There's also a really gorgeous piece of background music from Balto, but I don't know what it's called! It's the one that plays when Balto's at the bottom of the cliff howling with the wild wolf. So pretty!

I was just at my local WalMart and all they had was Mario, Peach, Donkey Kong, and Yoshi. But my WalMart is usually really bad at keeping their stock up-to-date, so I'm not giving up hope yet. This weekend I'll head out to the nearest "big" town. 40 minutes away and try the shops there.

I've been playing Bravely Default lately, I devoured the demo when it hit the 3DS eshop and was lucky enough to get the game for Christmas.

Bravely Default is awesome! I stopped playing it because I got newer games, but I need to get back to it someday, it was a really enjoyable game!

I'm switching between Alpha Sapphire (just beat the E4 last night) and Mario Kart 8 and Disney Infinity 2. Just depends on which needs to be charged at the time, my 3DS or my WiiU remote :P Whoops, 3DS need to be charged? Well, I COULD plug it in to play.....oooooor time for Mario Kart!

I agree, that's really stupid. And way too soon. It takes all the fun out of collecting if it turns into a "preorder it or pay 10 times the retail cost on Ebay!" thing. Marth is one of the ones I'm on the fence about, and I don't want to have to feel like I have to buy him if I see him because I won't get another chance.
