I've wanted to post this in December when I first finished, but life has been... well, very serious lately. With everyone getting sick over Christmas and my step-dad's passing, there hasn't been any personal time. But I'm going to take a few moments now to put it up. My step-dad particularly liked this one, because his favorite color is brown. When he saw me doing the FBR, he said "You're finally making a brown pony! Alright!" I just wish I had asked him what I should name it before it was too late. Anyway, on to the pony.
   She is a DG fakie with a FBR in apple barrel acrylics. I used sculpey for the "icing" around the legs which turned out to be much harder to do than I thought it would be! She is splatter painted with a darker brown to get her to look more like real gingerbread. She also has gumdrop buttons made from sculpey that were painted then sealed with mod podge then coated in white, non-iridescent glitter to look like sugar. Her eyes I chose to do in purple because when I bake gingerbread men I use raisins for the eyes. Her hair is DH in Blizzard white and Candy Apple. I used one plug of red for every 4 plugs of white to get the candy cane look once it was straw-curled. The little red bow I originally wanted to do with sculpey so it would look like icing too, but it wasn't working out too well, so I just glued a real ribbon bow to her head. I didn't want to name her gingerbread since there is already a Hasbro with that name, but I can't think of anything else. I'm open to suggestions! Oh, and I also painted the gingerbread house.

HOLY WOW! If I actually had any money, I'd give you a $1000 for that pony right now!

I marked that I own it, but it's really my daughter who owns it. I got it in a lot of ponies and was going to turn around and trade or resell it, but she fell in love with it and asked if she could have it. How could I deny a child a pony?

There are some awesome ponies coming from this swap! I hope my partner gets her's soon!

Yea! I got my box today! Why the post office waited until Monday to bring it when my mail was supposed to resume Friday is beyond me! But it was really awesome! I loved it and I will post pics when I find my camera; I packed it for my trip and now I don't know where I put it I didn't find a card in there though, did you send it to me Buddafly or Mimosa?
