Griffin's coming in clutch with Art Forum content I'm looking forward to see how everyone's improved @RoseNoire your anatomy and coloring have both come a long way!! I'd love to see a 2020 version too @Marshie I like how you pushed the curved perspective more in the new piece, very cool! I already posted this in my art thread but, I did this redraw just recently - the original piece is from 2015 and the redraw is from 2020: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginThough this thread has got me thinking about more redraws, so maybe I'll do another one

Ooooh I'm so excited! I also hope that they'll be an all-new cast.
I don't collect g4 and I don't really mind the existence of "brony" fans (when it comes to wholesome fandom), so I don't really have a gripe with the mane-6 - I guess because MLP:FiM was what introduced me to MLP, so this gen's always been about the show for me. But I would love a new gen to return to being collectible based on individual pony designs instead of established characters. Since Hasbro had so much success with a "central cast" in the past, though, who knows?
Either way, I can't wait to see new designs!!

I finished mine around the time I was assigned my partner because I knew if I waited, I would be bogged down with schoolwork and have a harder time finishing it lol. Though I'll revisit it before the due date to make sure I still like it

Aww she's adorable! I'm also a huge sucker for space-themed ponies and a brushable would be so cute.

Thank you all so much!! ^^ Your artworks are really amazing! I love the style and the beauty of watercolor. I felt in love specially with this Galaxy in the forest at night. Really beautiful!
Thank you! I actually haven't used watercolor in quite some time, my traditional pieces are marker or colored pencil, though your comment reminded me that I do still have watercolors somewhere around here I should use them!

I'll hop in again! This was so fun last time! ^^ Arena username: Fizzy Scrumptious Link to Gallery (if you have one, DA or elsewhere, or a thread on this forum): my art thread! What are your specialities? (Only pony art, or anthro and/or people as well? Realistic or toony? Digital or traditional? Do you do animated GIFs or pixels? Anything else you can think of?) I do a bunch of art but only really post pony stuff here! I enjoy digital or traditional. I will likely do digital for this trade, but we'll see Brief Character Description (Hasbro/OC): OC: a white pegasus with pink-tipped wings and hooves. They have pastel pink and yellow hair, brown eyes, and two yellow stars on their nose. Their symbol is a magical cloud coming out of a pencil. Character Reference Pic (a nice, clear reference, please! Links only - do not embed!):OC ref (I actually have a clear ref this time! yay!) List three to six possible themes for your avatar. These can be motifs, colours, expressions/emotions, hobbies, objects, etc... pretty much anything!1. hearts 2. cartography 3. art 4. pastel colors 5. 6. Anything you don't like?down for anything! Any other info?apples!!!

Colored pencils are hard, lol.
I second this sentiment Safflower, your Sugarberry is so cute! Love the rosy cheeks Thanks tailrustedtealeaf You did a good job with Azalea Bloom! I like how you drew the transparent wings by using the designs to sorta imply their shape

thank you, thank you, thank you If anyone is interested in a commission just message me! Prices are flexible based on detail, character count, shading etc and I would like to know how much you would pay for a piece of mine as I have very little experience with pricing my work. Perhaps asking potential customers about pricing isn't a sound business move but I do this as a hobby more than anything Here's a drawing of Flowerbelle: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd in another attempt by me to draw more ponies I haven't drawn before, I chose some ponies to make up a family Here's parents Cupcake and Sweet Lily with their children Happy Hugs, Little Whiskers, and Dots n Hearts. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I don't know anything about Hazbin, but I want to pop in to say that I don't think you're wrong to assume that at least some of G1's mythological references were based in Christianity. Not explicitly, of course, but when people create media their own life experiences are going to become involved with it. Mentions of heaven, paradise, demons, etc are likely to come from the creators' knowledge, who were American and likely raised in a Christian household (statistically speaking. I am not Christian and I wasn't raised in a Christian household, but I am American and most people in my area are Christian). And just because this religious knowledge is casual and mainstream, doesn't mean some of it isn't references to Christianity... I think people are coming at you too hard for that aspect of your post. And g4's casual swap of "God" with "Celestia" is, while not necessarily Christian, an interesting religious parallel. They didn't need to write lines akin to "sweet god" or "oh my god" but they decided to parallel that real world common phrase, which originated from Christianity (according to Google), in their fantasy world. Obviously Christianity doesn't exist in MLP but in mimicking the real world, they also mimic the deep but casual influences of Christianity/religion in general. Anyway, I don't mean to write a book in this post, but I honestly feel that adult crossovers wouldn't be the worst thing. Clearly it would be difficult to keep separate from children's MLP content on the internet, in which case there would be an issue. But MLP isn't a complete stranger to stuff like making MLP shot glasses and other nods to their adult audience. However I can't comment much on this cause I have no idea what Hazbin is I do know that sometimes there are little references in adult media to popular kid's media, like a few Gravity Falls references - a family-friendly cartoon - occurring in the adult cartoon Rick and Morty. Not an explicit mashup per se but just a little nod for the adult audience of Gravity Falls who would appreciate a little reference like that, and the implication that the kid-friendly universe of GF takes place in the same universe as the darker R&M. Perhaps a nod to adult audiences without a full mashup would go over well.

That is so pretty and creative, Fizzy Scrumptious! I love the animated poses of Roseluck and Autumn Crisp, the scene makes me feel like I should be able to hear their conversation if I just tried a little harder, haha.
Thank you Griffin! I love to hear that you get that vibe from it, it's what I was going for ^^ Woaaaaah, Fizzy !!!! I can't believe my eyes ! This is so pretty ! It's exactly the atmosphere I imagined for this month !! Your artwork is so beautiful, I love it so much !
At first, I saw no one reacting to that post, I was loosing hope, but your breathtaking artwork just warmed my heart. I want to cry of joy now. Thank you ! =)
I hope I will get to see more inspired people with my art thread. Thank you so much again for your participation ! ♥
Rose.
Thank you so much Rose! I'm so happy you like what I came up with. I love these posts, you include so many ideas and little descriptions that really get the creative juices flowing. I might draw something else for this post because I never drew the Breezie, but we'll see. Thank you for the fun art prompts!
