Surprise, Heart Throb, Skyflier, Powder, Sparkler, Gusty, were sold on that card.
Also yellow Moondancer and curly Firefly. They were for some reason added to the set when it was sold here. (Kind of like how Snowflake and Hopscotch was added to the early earth pony set here).

I know someone has suggested Glory, Medley, Twilight, Sunbeam was sold on the same card as well, but I doubt it. They never show up in auctions here (other than imported ones of course). While the others do, although yellow Moondancer and curly Firefly less often than the others.

If I'm wrong let me know.. I would love to see Glory etc moc on that card if they actually exist.

I think the Rocking Beat ponies had cool names in french but I don't remember them now.. I *think* one of them is "Solo".

Barnacle is Red Beard ? Again, weird but fits him..

Pinwheel 2 is a later release, Pinwheel 1 belongs to the 1985 production which also includes browning Confetti and Trickles (that Pinwheel also has dark blue sticks). I luckily have all versions of her including the mail order both sealed and out of bag.

As for the MOC one Chrissytree posted, those were sold in Australia, South Africa, Germany (German text, HK), and Scandinavia as they were all on the same price list that Hasbro UK was sending out in 1986 (if they didn't show up in Denmark or Netherlands for example it was only because shops there did not order them).

I didn't know there were so many different ones. Is there any sure way to tell them apart? So if you have a random one you can see which type it is?

When you all are talking about a "deeper" pink, what do you mean? Is it brighter pink? Or less purple-y pink?

I think the first one looks discoloured... I have seen it happen to other pink ponies, for example, TE Galaxy.

I couldn't care less if g4 and g4 fandom die. Sorry Hasbro has been milking it for too long now. They should do something new. Real new, not g4 in a slightly modified mold.
I think the 'paranoia' might come from how the g4 fandom is based around media, internet memes, songs, youtube videos and such - the g4 fans need to maintain it all the time to keep it going or it becomes old.
The g1 g2 g3 fandoms are based around the plastic figures so the g1 through g3 fans don't really need to do anything, as long as the old plastic figures are around everything is A ok. g1 through g3 just become vintage, they never get old.

I remember when these were released. At the time, Citrus Sweetheart, Lavender Lake and Thistle Whistle were the most popular ones.

I don't really have a favourite, I like them all. But Tangerine Sunset would probably be my favourite if she was in a better pose... She is actually very pretty but because of the weird pose she doesn't look good in photos.


 

 You can whine and complain about price and design blah blah not up to your standards, if you don't like it go make your own.

The SA ponies are intriguing. I have given up on ever owning one, they are just too htf and out of my price range. I will probably end up making a custom. Has anyone ever tried making a custom rooted tail?
