I got the full set of HQG1C Artistry Girls from my TP swap partner, and my husband actually shocked me in buying me one of the Loungefly Dream Castle backpacks and the Megan & Skydancer wallet.
I bought myself the Torrid hoodie on Black Friday.

I want to know about the Kimono up front since she was a contest prize in Australia. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe "standard" size for these is three feet tall. I would say that SB and Wysteria on top are half that size. You can see SB next to carnie prize RD in this post. I have a carnie Sunny Daze that is about 1½-2 feet tall. As for their origin (SB & Wysteria), you'd have to ask halicabi herself. I don't know anything else about them. ETA: IF I remember correctly, the pajama case plush are not quite as large as the others.

Wanted to Buy: Baby Sweet Snowflake (Photo from MLW) I bought her accessories earlier this year. Now I just need her and her card. She's probably my favorite G2.visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I decorated a bit, but not as much as I normally do. I haven't been feeling in the mood this year. But here's my skeleton crew on Trick or Treat Day. Luna was first to tap out and is probably still plotting her revenge. Bobby was next - super offended that I let people touch his leathery little head. The Three Stooges were just happy to bark at people and muddy up their costumes. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I've been kicking around the forums since Pony Finders in 2003. Most of the good friends I've made in the community in that time have moved on from MLP and sold off their collections, either out of disinterest or life changes. There are quite a few who do still collect that attend pony meets, but social media is where we do the majority of our conversing. Not just about ponies, but about life events too. I honestly prefer the TP and Arena to discuss MLP rather than posting on Facebook, but like I said, most of my peeps aren't really over here anymore.

I've never seen them before. So cute! The purple pony has Twinkle Twirl's color scheme, and the banana split pony reminds me of Coconut Cream for sure.

I think there was an internal document from around that time that said "Ponies are not ponies, they are six year old girls and they ONLY do the things six year old girls do."
They told us that on the HQ tour in 2008. We were all like... visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I don't remember who posted about it before or if I have the details right, but G1 hair was made in an Italian factory that burned to the ground. So what is now sold as "original" G1 hair is close but not exact. Again, I don't remember exactly, so do with that info what you will.
Really? So all the doll hair suppliers are lying? In all seriousness, I had no idea! So there could be a slight difference - maybe the original hair was slightly thinner? Of course the hair we can get these days is great, but it'd be interesting to know.
No, and that's not what I said. When the current suppliers say that they're ordering from Hasbro's supplier, they're speaking about the company that currently supplies Hasbro, not the company that supplied them in the 1980s and 1990s.

Paradise Estate is a pastel pink. Not sure of the Baby Buggy one, but this could be the Princess Baby Buggy heart too.
