The thing is, ALL baby sea ponies have no country under their tail curls  My childhood babies, bought here in the UK have no country of manufacture stamped under their tail curls.

Ahh interesting! I didn't know that about the babies, since this Foamy was my first baby sea pony. So I suppose like that thread's OP says, the eye paint on Foamy just looks odd, regardless of whether she's the Mexican or US release. I wonder if it was the stamp that was used for her or something. As I was looking a little bit closer at this spotlight, I realized something...my Foamy has no country initial on her tail curl, just the very faint year and Hasbro: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginCould she possibly be Mexican? I had been wondering if she might be because her eye paint looked a bit odd to me, but I had no idea what to look for until now. The other day I was rehairing a Baby Firefly with yarn and I realized about halfway through that the color I had been using didn't suit her as well as another color I had, so I started pulling the yarn back out. I tried to be super careful but unfortunately I ripped a couple of the plug holes up (they were very close together on her). Thankfully I was able to sort it out with some superglue and they didn't tear again, but it made my stomach sink when I did it initially, eep.
I'm usually pretty careful with my ponies but I do have very strong hands so if I don't watch the amount of force I put into whatever I'm working on, I can damage it easily. I've rubbed off a little bit of symbol and blush paint when I've cleaned particularly filthy ponies before, but it was just the top layer and doesn't look like anything was done to the paint, thankfully.
I think that's about it on the sort of...damage mistake front? I suppose the only other 'mistakes' I've made were not buying ponies I came across and regretting it later. Like a $5 Munchy and a $20 barn full of G1s I passed up on when I wasn't actively collecting.

[Article Here]Oklahoma now has 377 cases and 15 deaths. My county has 12 cases and our mayor is finally putting in an enforcable shelter in place order, likely to be effective Tuesday. Our governor is planning to isolate two hospitals in the state to deal with the Covid-19 cases in order to save on resources.

I adore Mexican ponies! I just have the three Princes so far but I'm definitely hoping to have more of them in the future. I would really love to have the Auriken Blossom in the Tootsie/Cherries Jubilee pose, winged Baby Blossom, and Peppermint Crunch! I don't know much about the variation so I'm not sure if it's OOAK, but I would love to have the blue version of Prince Sapphire one day, as well.

Ahh I'm so excited to see another new collector getting into G1s! It's great that your partner shares your love for ponies. Sounds like you have a lovely collection so far! Baby Lollipop is precious, I can see why she'd be one of your favorites. Also good luck on your school! Being a cleaner sounds like a good honest job that will keep you nice and busy. Do you have a specific industry you're thinking of going into, or are you going to be doing domestic work? Anyhow, welcome to the Arena! I hope you enjoy yourself here, and I hope to see you and your herd around!

Ahh I don't have any other pics other than this one and my avatar! But basically her face marking is just her whole face being white until just before the end of her jaw (like in the avvie) and two or three jagged edges where the white meets the dark gray (so like what it looks like on her legs). It's kind of like a bald face marking on a real horse! But there's really no exact way it has to look, if it's easier for you to just blob the white on and go without the jagged edges that's totally fine! Also the red things above her eyes are just her eyebrows hehe. If that description isn't enough let me know and I can try to sketch something up for you real quick to make it easier! Thank you! <3

My county still has just 3 cases, but there have now been 164 cases confirmed in my state, with 5 deaths total. My sister's workplace is now requiring temperature checks at the door, and they now also require an admin override to clock in afterwards so that they can ensure that only people who've been checked are allowed into the kitchen. Basically everything cooking-wise has been picked over at stores. My mom wasn't able to find butter, buttermilk, milk, bread, etc. She was able to get one pack each of toilet paper and paper towels, and apparently the Wal-mart bakery has begun making bread and filling the shelves with it as much as they can due to the shortage of bread.
Our mayor declared yesterday that beauty shops, barbershops, health clubs, spas, tattoo parlors, tanning salons, massage parlors, and nail salons will be closed. He is also putting in a 6-foot rule for lines where stores have to either a) put markers on the floor to show people where to stand or b) require every person to get a cart to attempt to ensure a 6-foot distance between people. I have no idea how that will work or how it'll be enforced, but I guess we'll know soon enough. The mayor has also issued a warning that people found to be having gatherings of 10 or more people may be fined $560.

Oh this does happen to me all the time haha! My current favorite is actually Forget-Me-Not.
