My first ponies were Sundance and Light Heart! I thought they came with a castle but maybe my memory is wrong, because I can't find anything about that online.

I kept my Cotton Candy Shop and Twinkle Twirl's Dance Studio, but donated my Butterfly Island  I still regret that. It was so fun, but I thought I had outgrown ponies by then.
I also wish I had kept my G2 playsets. At least I kept all my ponies! I think I just gave away or misplaced a few fakies.

She's so pretty! I adore the yellow of her mane and tail, it goes so well with the soft pink. And I always love ponies with plant/floral themes.
I have not seen her before. She won't be going on my wish list, but if I saw her for a good price I wouldn't pass her up!

I find so many ponies at conventions! I was at a little local anime festival and found Galaxy
She was $20 which I thought was a little high for her quality- the hair was still nice but she had some discoloration and can't stand up straight.

Minty was one of my first G3 ponies and remains one of my top favorites!
My Minty's mane and tail have faded to white, but I adore her.

Ideally, what I'd want in a G5 toy line (I haven't seen any leaks):
Character variety, like lots of different characters. Maybe from the show, maybe ones that are unique to the toys like some of the early G4 releases. Not just a bunch of Mane 6 over and over again.
I'd really like the actual pony designs to look more like ponies. My favorite body/face shapes were G2 and G3. I know going "backwards" might not be the way the designers will go, unfortunately for me. I'm not a huge fan of the giant heads/eyes and tiny snouts that don't look like any animal at all.
Closer to G3 size would be preferable too! Though for me, it might be dangerous to collect something bigger, seeing as how I have no more room for ponies
I'm just excited to see the new direction they'll take, and despite all my criticisms, I love all gens and will probably love this one as well. No matter what, a few G5s will make it into my collection!

I was getting "too old" at that point and thought they looked silly and overly childish and girlish, which I feel bad for thinking now.

I'm so behind on the show because my partner and I haven't gotten the chance to catch up, so I missed this!
But I'm so excited! I love Minty so much. But like people have said, it's disappointing that she's just an Applejack recolor.
It still doesn't feel real that they made a Minty Build-a-Bear. That made me so unbelievably happy.
