aww well I missed this message, haha! I have been busy busy this summer. I actually found another baby G2 pony when I was in Belgium, there aren't so many that I don't have at this point

I generally don't read manga, but for some reason I thought I ought to read the Nausicaa manga as they're at the library. I used to watch the movie all the time and wanted more to the story after being reminded of it by Shuna's Journey , which was AMAZING. Seriously, the whole thing is full color paintings basically and it's only been recently translated. I adore fairy tale retellings and explorations of folklore, so Shuna's Journey (which is also by Myazaki!) was so enjoyable. Anyway, I was (predictably) completely blown away by Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and I don't know why it took me so long to read it. It's right up there with Lord of the Rings on the greatest fantasy/stories of all time list for me.

:0 I've never seen this before! I have a tiny flat sided pony who is blue and pink with yellow hair(?) which I believe I pried off an old watch when I was very small. I have seen the watch with the pink birthday print pony, which is adorable, but this one Ive never seen!

The LLL toys were before my time, but I used to check out a vhs from the local shop that had a few LLL episodes on it! I also had a book, though I can’t remember which one. When I grew up and found out about the toys, I was mostly a little disappointed that they didn’t resemble the absolutely lovely art in the picture books so much! Now I have the pixie tails treehouse, the beauty magic throne, and a pixietail and a comb gnome which I found in thrift shops here weirdly enough. I would loooove to have more pixietails but they are quite expensive for what they are, like $8-10 just for one on tradera, when I got both the playsets (missing lots of pieces ofc) for around $20! If they were a little more detailed I’d be more willing to shell out for them but I’m thinking about making my own with polymer clay and yarn so the playsets can be absolutely covered! I wish I was a doll customizer so I could make slightly larger and more detailed versions of the characters, but I’ve never been a big doll collector. The original dolls are quite cute, and the playsets are lovely!

Hmm well I donnn't like the overly realistic flounder and sebastian, but idk what else they would do.... I haven't watched a disney live action remake since cinderella but I'm actually kind of excited for this one I like the mermaid designs and I have no expectations for the rest so it'll be fun!

The G2 canopy bed is lovely; I appreciate how they designed something other than just a classic human style bed.
I totally agree! I think the bed is quite cute and creative actually, some of the early playsets are! When I was a teenager for some reason I liked everything to be pastel, but as an adult Ive gone back to being a fan of the super bright tropical pallette

The only video games I've played in their entirety were barbie horse adventures and the lego lord of the rings games! Just recently re played the whole story mode of lego LOTR with my boyfriend. I've tried the star wars and harry potter ones as well but niether was as fun as lotr
