Definitely feeling the burnout as far as G4 is concerned. After the reboot I've bought very little. Soarin, Tempest Shadow, Songbird Serenade and I think that's it. The reboot figures just don't do it for me as much and Guardians of Harmony seems to be fizzling out as well so there's not much left I'm interested in.

I have a baity G3 Denim Blue. Yellowed from smoke, stinky, and she also had a marker make-up job. Other that she looked fine. Good hair, nice paint, glitter, and cutie mark. At the time I thought maybe she could be salvaged if I sunfaded her. I wanted to see if I could at least remove some of the marker on her face with acetone beforehand. I had peeled off some layers of a cotton swab and ever so slowly and carefully started to clean above her eye when my hand slipped. The acetone, of course, smeared and removed some of her eye paint.

For an even darker room you could put a box valance or thick fabric over the top of the curtain rod so even less light will leak into your room from behind the curtains. I've been considering doing this myself since my ponies are displayed in my bedroom which has a huge window on the largest wall. I've got blackout panels as well and they only help so much
Edit: I also forgot to mention putting up blinds, that will also help as well! There are so many kinds of blinds that you have the pick of the litter, not just the standard light-filtering ones. I'm pretty sure they make darkening blinds as well.

Cartoon-wise It probably wouldn't work too well... Toy-wise I'd say it'd be more successful. I know I'd kill for a Sub-line of MLP toys that focus on other pony gens.

Yes of course it is the specialty breed of cobra evolved specifically to fit into pony-size places...
Oh wow thankfully I dont know any snake that small. I bet there would be more likely a chance of a poisonious spider than that. o.o
Depends on the snake. Lots of species hatch out at only a few inches while some snakes stay super tiny their whole lives such as thread snakes.

Do the Sea Ponies even count as part of the Reboot/4.5 since we've never had them in the G4 toy line yet? Anyway, I really think the new style works well for them and I think I need them all. Also, I'm not so keen on the regular ponies but I think I'll cave and buy new characters, too.

Just last year my Target had a lone Canterlot Shine Bright Pinkie Pie on a peg. Not sure how or why she was there but I bought her. I think I paid like less than 4 dollars, too.

Thanks for all the info guys! Glad I've got an ID for at least one of 'em. I really do wish I had more info to give you for the black flocked horse but I literally know nothing more about it, that friend never told me anything about it before she gave it to me. I can't ask her since we lost contact a long time ago. Since he's a bit of a mystery I'm wondering if it's a good idea to try and fix him up or leave him as is.

I've got two horse toys I need help identiflying. x-x Neither of them have any markings, dates, company names, or anything stamped or printed on them. If anyone has any ideas as to what they are it would be really helpful! The first one is pretty wild and resembles a Dream Beauty. I only acquired this one recently: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe second is a toy I've had since I was a child. It was given to me by a friend and don't know his story before that. He's a very light, hollow plastic, (mostly) flocked and his mane is made of fur. Not gonna post a photo of the figure from that angle but it is a stallion. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

I recently bought the Sundance and I wouldn't recommend putting her on your dashboard. She's really heavy and I think ceramic. What ever she's made of it's not the light, hollow vinyl that real ponies are made of. What ever you're using to adhere her to your dash will probably degrade quickly and I can just see her popping off and tumbling off when you turn. >: Plus her hair feels a little cheaper than real pony hair. I wouldn't keep her in constant direct sunlight to roast inside of a car.

I'm not quite thirty yet but one thing I've been doing with my ponies since I've been a child is storing them in plastic ice cream tubs. Like the gallon Ice cream. They're cheap, not too heavy, have little handles and you get to eat all that ice cream before hand. xD Probably not the best storage method but I keep them in my room and take them out often... I'm not using them for kind of deep/ long-term storage.

Found her at TRU today in my area. I was in shock since I wasn't aware she had been showing up in stores. If shes in my region I have a feeling she may be becoming more common, which is good! My area tends to miss waves and stores here don't like to restock very often.

I'd probably only dig living toys if it was like Toy Story and not as in living, breathing, animals... o-o
First I'd totally apologize to my childhood ponies for treating 'em the way I did. Then apologize to the rest of my collection for keeping them stuffed inside shoe boxes and containers since I moved into my new place almost a year ago. Then I would offer to give them a good pampering like washing/styling their hair if that's what they desired. Assuming it's like Toy Story they'd WANT to be played with since they know they are toys and seem to get sad if they are ignored. I'd also warn them to avoid making the cat interested.
I'd be okay with Toy Story alive. That could be a lot of fun, up until my TFs, Mega Man toys, Skylanders and Toy horses came to life. They'd all be trying to bump each other off for the best shelf space.
That honestly makes me question whether or not I'd even want a Toy Story setting, now. I've got a TON TF's and various other toy collections. If they ALL came to life I suspect there would be a lot more than just bumping each other around the the shelves. .__.; Would they all get along? How long would it take for them to realize they are toys? Even if it was just the ponies, how well would THEY get along? What if there were prejudices between the different generations? Plus how fun would living toys be in the the long-term? Would you get sick of having so many tiny, talking beings in your house? You'd never be alone anymore. Edit: Plus you'd have to worry about every new toy you bought, too. Toy Story-wise, most toys come out of the box under the belief they are that character. Every new Megatron would be trying to rally the rest of my Decepticons to fight all the Autobots.
