This are so clever and cute. I love them all

Thank you!

Those are very cool! What a neat idea. :)

Thank you ^_^ I can't take the credit for the idea though. I saw a tutorial on youtube by chance and decided to make my own version :) A lot of people put stuff on the inside of the jars, but I like building up the magical atmosphere around it :) Like the fairy's magic can't be contained.

Very pretty! I love the amount of detail you've put into them :lovey:

Thank you so much ^^

Those are very beautiful. :)

Thank you very much  :lovey:

Beautiful! Do you ever plan on opening an online shop? I feel like my girlfriend would really love this sort of thing.

I've thought about it. There are a lot of fairy jars for sale on shops like Etsy, mine are a little different though, so perhaps I should. I'd have to figure out shipping, because I live in Canada and shipping is so expensive here. If I do put up a shop, I'll make sure to post it in the arts and crafts section with a link to it ^^

These are very pretty :) I've made similar jars myself, but with unicorns instead of fairies :)

Love pkw xxx

I would love to see them! :D I've seen a couple dragon and unicorn ones on pinterest and have thought about making a few myself. I'd really like to make a Windy Wings one or MLP one. If you have photos though, I'd love to see yours ^^

Wow! These are gorgeous!

Thank you so much! :D

Oh that fluffiness! It has so soft but at the same time strong appearance and those fluttery lashes really add the final touch :)

ooo thank you! That's exactly what I was going for!

Fantastic work.

Do you think you'll do animals or fantasy creatures other than cats?

I travel to a lot of conventions to promote my books and sometimes I make fairy lanterns to sell alongside my books. I thought I'd share a couple ^^ I'm planning on making a Windy Wings fairy jar sometime. I'll have to post it when I finish it.

I like to make each jar a little different and my materials are always changing.

They are supposed to be G4 sea ponies, but they look nothing like the ones presented in the book 'under the sparkling sea'.

It took me a while to get used to the G4 look in terms of the cartoon and the toys, but now I like them both, so I'll get used to this is too I guess, but I think a lot of us had our hopes up for that classic sea pony look. I have Under the Sparkling Sea on my list to buy because the images I've seen from the book are so beautiful, so I'm surprised they didn't go with that look either, but oh well.

Thanks for responding :)

Really nice art of Amalthea! I really love the colors!

Thank you so much! I loved the idea of her walking through the woods at dawn.

I am thinking about doing another illustration of her with blue and purples, like when she's in the forest at night :)

Thank you again!

Hey everyone,

I greatly appreciate all of the replies. Thank you all so much.

The 100% acetone seemed to lessen the marks, but they are still prevalent, so I have prepped Barnacle for sun fading starting tomorrow. Hopefully in a couple of days I'll have some photos of him looking like new :D

On a side note, some of the acetone removed a little bit of the blushing on his cheeks, but I have some chalk pastels and will fix that right up.

Nice work! I especially like Puppy Love. :)

Thank you! Puppy Love seem to be the favorite I think ^^ It's funny because I hate the background and keep thinking I need to re-do it, lol. Ah, artists...  :good:

Stunning work! :faint: Such smooth sculpting and the colors really work well together!

:frolic: Thank you so much! I really appreciate the compliments ^^

I love how dramatic she is despite her simplicity. Her hair always looks like it's being carried by a breeze and those eyelashes make her much more expressive.

What a beautiful way to describe her. Thank you!  :lovey:

WOW!  She is stunning!  The color choice and simplicity is beautiful.  The eyes are gorgeous!  The custom has a soft, ethereal iciness to it...if that makes sense.  Great work!  Any chance you'd sell her?  :)

Thank you so much! and it totally makes sense ^^ I have never sold a custom before, I shall have to consider it. Thank you so much, I never thought someone would want to buy one of my customs  :lovey:

Hi,
Have you tried Acetone first and foremost?

I used a nail polish remover that was not 100% acetone to get what you see in the photos. It's better than it was originally.

Should I go ahead and use my 100% acetone? I used my 100% acetone on a monster high doll recently and their arms are a different material than their faces and for some reason the 100% acetone had a strange reaction with the doll's arm and I was afraid to use it on one of my ponies. I rechecked the bottle and it's 100% acetone that's sold at walmart and stored in a plastic bottle.

Thank you so much for responding.

I used a rubber band to hold down Barnacle's hair while I was trying to style it. I left it on, forgetting about it, and when I went to take it off, THE RUBBER BAND melted/broke down on him. We have AC and he was not in the sun. I have no idea what happened. I had to peel off the broken pieces and it stained him!!!!!! I am heartbroken and devastated. He is one of my all time favourites. I can't believe I did this to him, it makes me sick (I realize I am overreacting, I just can't help it. I am so worked up).

Here are pictures of the damage. I was thinking maybe sun fading him, but is there anything else you guys would like to recommend?

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Pictures of the damage below
