I had them by colour for quite a while, vaguely in the order of the rainbow (sort of), a shelf for each colour. That looked nice.

Now I've got them displayed by set, i.e. all TE's together etc. But then I've filled the gaps with the miscellaneous, e.g. I've only got 2 Baby Sea Ponies, so they're just together where there was space for them both. Actually, with this method there's still quite a lot of space in my cabinet, which is nice

I was going to fill the spaces by buying more ponies, but have just found out I might be moving again, so will hold off. I always expect that one time I won't have space for a display cabinet. In which case then I'll have the "should I part with a few" dilemma. Hey ho.
