If stains are not cleanable, I believe the best thing for her would be a full body repaint - perhaps airbrushing would be best, as it looks neater. And she would be as good as new again. ^.^

Ohh, I am really sorry that happened to you! She is still beautiful in its own way.. still I know that is not something you wish to hear now.. >_<

I so wish I could help. I just started customising, but thinking of trying some pony restoring in future too.

I do hope someone will help you with this little beauty.. I love her so much. Even in this condition. :)

Pony Corral / Vintage Pony Hair Care

I bought some vintage ponies recently and was wondering what you normally do to make vintage pony hair look shiny, silky and as new again? :)  Do you use shampoos, conditioners, or anything else (heard some of them may be harmful for synthetic hair?) How do you style? Any info would be helpful! :P

Wanted! / WANTED: G1 & G2 baits / Sea Pony Accessories
« on: August 15, 2013, 01:42:59 AM »
Hi, I am looking for G1 or G3 baits, but I live in Sydney Australia and the shipping may cost too much for me at times.. so baits are a bit too hard to find for me...

If you have pony baits you don't need, I would really appreciate! Poses does not matter, G1 preferable, one or two cheap fakies welcome (for practicing). Just let me know your prices and shipping quotes. Thank you kindly! ^.^

Sea ponies, Newborns, Tappies or Fakies anyone? :)

Hi there! :) I just bought a lovely Sea Pony and I wish to display her nicely! Do you have any seapony accessories like a Display Shell or shell brush/comb you don't need?

Thank you kindly!!

May anyone kindly share their experience in pony eye outlining? :)

Do you use a high-quality brush with a very fine tip or perhaps anyone even tried using pens/markers, etc.? And if pens, what type/brand you reckon are the best?

Hmmm.. perhaps something like double-sided tape would work too?
Why would you like to do something like that?  :)

Tried that yesterday, and it worked like a charm. Thanks so much everyone - you are just amazing!! :)

There definitely should be a tutorial of that tricky part too.

cookhuman, this really helps! As I was trying to do a similar thing but I am afraid I just cut too much of the ring, so the head is now.. err.. broken..

P.S. I'm doing G4, but I guess that should work too.

...without making the paint chip? :|

P.S. The head always deforms slightly, especially in neck part. So I'm a bit afraid. >_<

SoldierofTwilight, thank you kindly. :)

Pop-girl, oh my... that is so clever... why didn't I think about that before!  It just gives you more possibilities - that way you can even try some colours you were unsure to buy in a full hank for some reason! :)
