Still a WiP, but I worked on her a little more today. Meet the floppy/plushie pony species. The size of a normal My Little Pony but all the more cuddly.  (Heh, I'd like to write a real pitch for them as if they were a set/gimmick being released). I intend to design a bunch of these as time passes. I completely forgot about the legendaries, and I walked into an EB Games a couple days ago. xD Oh well, I managed to stop by today. They definitely don't have a limit of one for these codes. When I asked, the clerk was like "here, have two", and I told him I finally got UM so I can use the second one, and he was like "oh, in that case, take a third, it'll make you happier". (I hate how greedy the company is, but I love the employees)  I said I didn't need a third but he insisted. I DO have a friend I could give the code to (he ends up buying the codes on ebay >>), but I lost contact now that I left my old job, and kind of feel awkward cold-texting people I haven't talked to since if they can pass it along.  If I can't get a hold of him, I'll be sure to share the extra code with someone here if anyone needs. All that said, I FINALLY picked up UM about a month ago...but I still haven't opened it. I got Kirby Planet Robobot at the same time, and, well, I've been enjoying it a lot. So cute. Safflower- Good luck and enjoy! I would suggest trying to breed instead of soft resetting if you want to wait. Either I was insanely lucky, or Masuda breeding has super low odds this gen because I hatched three shiny Rowlets when I was breeding them to trade away for dex entries.

Thank you Khoufu, Teddy, and Safflower!  I think I vaguely remember seeing that movie. Was there a sequel with some of Charlotte's kids? also, now I want to see spider-ponies. I kind of want to go back and add more to it. I need to spend more times playing around with backgrounds/landscapes in general. No update today, was working on a digital pony to get back into Sai (I've become accustomed to Photoshop thanks to work, and am failing with the different shortcuts plus general differences in the brushes). Will hopefully have her done next weekend, or earlier if I bring my tablet home during the week.

Happy to hear there's more interest from both returning members and new. LMaP is a project for the whole community after all.  Taffeta- I'd like to see Cassie made too, but I can understand why anyone would shy away. She's got a lot going on for one pony.  Wild Raspberry- Only Hasbro's if we're getting technical.  She was a community effort so she belongs to all of us. Okay, So I've put together a list of ponies/gimmicks, and to avoid the issues of my amateur pony wisdom... If anyone notices something I'm missing from any generation, please let me know so I won't end up leaving it out. Otherwise, the gimmick polls at least will have an 'other' option. Pony species:Earth Unicorn Pegasus Alicorn/Unipeg/Pegicorn/Winged Unicorn/whatever you want to call it Seapony Merpony Winger Flutter Breezie Hippogriff Pony friend (like the one offs: Cutesaurus, Kingsly, Leafy, etc, as well as Griffon's, or G4 movie-introduced species I guess. Thanks ColdRuru, unfortunately, I've been procrastinating on finding the scanner as I still need a place to set it up....my desk has no space... Slightly spruced up the OP post and added more coloured ponies. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginButterscotch got a basic bg because I accidentally made a coloured line I couldn't erase and needed a way to hide it. It...works? In hindsight, I should have added some butterflies so her symbol would make sense.

Yay! Happy to see some interest already. I've been reading through the old threads and need to start jotting notes. I DID just find inspiration from someone's old post for a new silly feature to vote on. One, I feel will be vetoed instantly, but I can't help but put a feeler out there.  I kind of wish I had the ability to update all the PB links though, a bunch of poll results are lost.  Safflower- I would definitely seek one out that wouldn't require a login to vote. The only one I know of is SurveyMonkey, which would only require me to create an account from the look of things. I'll investigate it, and other poll hosting sites if people are interested in that option (so far, it looks like people want this arena locked).

Hello wonderful Arena folk. Some of you may remember Let's Make a Pony, but for those of you who didn't catch the first game, here's a handy link to see the happenings (sorry for all the broken images, photobucket, right?): http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,381901.0.htmlAnd without hopping threads, the gist is that we, as a community, partake in a series of polls--which ask questions like species, colours, theme, names, etc.--to create a brand new, maybe crazy, maybe simple, pony! Here is Cassie, the first arena created pony- visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnyway, moving onto modern times. I was remembering the fun and would love to host another one. My only concerns are my timetable, luckily I have a 9-5 weekday job now so no randomly scheduled night shifts to worry about getting in the way. But I'm still busy and this was a five month commitment last time. D: Ideally, I would love to recruit a co-host to help with organizing and thread making/updating. But at the same time I don't want to be flaky and kind of disappear when we need to communicate (my brain works best when my mind wanders at work or the subway commute)... Furthermore, I have lost my notes, so I will be backtracking through the old threads to catch myself up and create a new document, and hopefully have enough information about the kinks that went on last round (I remember there being a few!). Please, if you participated before and have any suggestions/feedback on the things you liked and didn't like, I'm more than grateful to receive it. One think for sure I feel could improve is the poll format. The arena polls are great, but sort of limited. I feel it would be smoother if I had the ability to have multiple polls up at once, instead of trying to cram 2 different questions in one poll and/or snail things along and ask small details one at a time. My only hesitation is I don't want to force people off site to participate, you know? Sorry for the unorganized ramblings. I guess, I'm just looking to garner interest and feedback before I start working on this. No matter what, it will still be a little while before I get the ball rolling, since I need to rebuild my notes and try to get some art assets and other small nitpicks taken care of. TLDR; Let's Make a Pony! Game 2, yay or nay?

Love reading through everyone's diverse opinions. Seems the majority is all about changing around poses; maybe early G4s did something right by forcing one static pose, but then the complaint is that there is no pose diversity.... Another recent discovery: Decided to draw her, and led me to notice G1 Butterscotch's symbol are butterflies??? What? So random. I wonder what she would look like with something more fitting to her name? G3 Butterscotch's CM is pretty cute, so 7 repeated lollipops maybe? And on the topic, while I like Blue belle's stars, I can't help but wonder what she would look like with bells instead.

Got some airborn ponies coloured in! Phone camera is eating the colours as usual...really need to look for my scanner. Wind Drifter's wings are completely gone. I will try to organize things relating to that over the weekend, but I guess throwing out a feeler if anyone would be interested? Mostly aiming to do small card sized traditionals for cheap (that can be mailed) and potentially digital???

Rainbow Stripes Rainbow Streaky Rainbow Ringlet Rainbow Raincurl Duh!  But being serious, I'd have to think a bit more for serious answers, but Stripes looks like a Wishing Star to me. I agree something musical for Streaky too, like Prism Melody or something, need to think harder there though. Edit: Oh! I think Harmony is simple and fitting for Streaky. (Is there already a pony named Harmony?). And something related to gliding or her wings for Ringlet, but still can't think of anything (LadyMoondancer's suggestion of Starfall is pretty though). Still drawing a complete blank for Raincurl, honestly, I think her actual (NA version) name is fitting already.

What would you change? A question I thought would be fun. Love a pony's colourscheme but not their symbol? Love their beautiful mane but it's stuck on a pose/pony race you don't care for? Has a lackluster name? Has a darned gimmick you just can't stand? Just be sure to list ONE thing per pony, it's kind of like a "this pony would be my favourite ever but I have this one nitpick!" and not a "I really don't like this pony, this is what they should have done..." Anyway, to start off: Thanks to the current white pony picture thread, I just dicovered G3 Breezie. I love white bodied ponies, and her CM is so adorable...but that mane colour.  It's boring to me to a have a white pony with pale blonde hair in a line that is all about fantasy colours. I think she would look cuter with a green mane matching her CM colour instead. Now you go!

No pictures to contribute right now, but here to see all the pretty white ponies. I think this is my first time seeing Breezie, she officially has the cutest CM in my opinion.
