That's totally okay! I bought like ten dolls in a week when I first started, which four new ghouls did you add? 
First after Spectra was Scaris Ghoulia (who, I am sad to say, I am not as in love with as I thought I would be), then Skelita who I finally found after going to THREE different places, and then I got the CAM Mummy and Gorgon and created Tetisheri and Scylla, respectively. And I now have Scaris Deuce on the way, and Signature Operetta. And thennn maybe I'm done for a while... *stares sadly at empty bank account*

I might be interested. I'll echo faunabay and say I probably wouldn't go higher than $15 for a wig, unless it was SO AMAZINGLY AMAZING that I just had to have it. I am looking for a suitable wig for my Gorgon CAM.

I don't have a ton of confessions yet, as I literally started collecting yesterday. xD But here goes:
- Like others have said, I have lied about who I'm giving the doll to. I know it shouldn't matter, but sometimes I feel the cashier's judgy eyes and I have to throw a "this is for my sister" line in there. This is the same with ponies as well.
- I am a "only one doll of each character" person. I cannot have doubles, even from different lines. Same with ponies. I freak out. Only one!! Luckily this somewhat limits the ridiculous amount of money I can spend on collecting...
- I have loved MH since it came out but it took me until now to have the guts to buy them for myself.

Haha thanks Doriebelle! And adorable pics. I love how so many of the dolls mirror the look of the ponies. Spectra is right at home amongst my herd. I can tell they already adore her and vise-versa. You'll definitely be seeing more of me!

Woot! Way to go! Toys are awesome! And Rarity and Spectra look like they were made for each other. Pity that they don't do MHxFiM crossovers the way Marvel mixes up their universes...
Ahhh that crossover would be amazing! Maybe someday. Same happened to me this week too I bought three though! And I'm getting more off an arena member...
Yep that'll be me next. Right now I'm looking for more clothes for my new girl before I spring for my second doll (who I'm pretty sure is gonna be Skelita because AWESOME).

Look what you've all done to me! I saw the Monster High dolls on the shelves wayyy back when and thought they were awesome. But at the time I felt a little weird buying one as a twenty-one year old. Little did I know that places like this forum exist, where none of those arbitrary "age" rules apply! I told myself I would never get one, because I knew the obsession that would quickly follow (for example, I just started re-collecting ponies about two months ago, and I now have 132 of them. That's how fast I work, people). But this DAMN FORUM and its seductive powers!! I spent half the day trying to convince myself to forget about Monster High entirely. Yeeeahhh... fail. Long story short, Spectra came home with me tonight and immediately bonded with Rarity. I can see them being good buddies (and also oddly similar in their coloring). They are snuggled up together on the shelf now. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginWHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME, ARENA? You'll be hearing from my pocketbook about this.
