I am way behind on this thread! Trying to get caught up now!  Re: Super Zelfs - I feel like the rare one who loves them! Their faces aren't as cute as the medium Zelfs, but I find them endearing in their own way, almost like they're parents to the smaller ones, or maybe just grown-up versions. I also love the substantial size and the way they feel in the hand, and I LOVE the pearly, glitter and especially the glow effects! Re: Jewely - Congrats to everyone who is finding her! Once again, I feel like the odd one here, because I don't find her nearly as pretty as Miss Clover. The gems on Jewely's head sort of look like extra eyes to me...that said, I won't give mine up for anything, and I'm still amazed I managed to find her! Re: Wave 2 of medium/Super Zelfs Series 2 - I don't think Webina medium and super, Lady B. medium, Dorothy-Doe medium, Catsby medium, Dandy-Lion medium and Super, or Owlmanda medium and super have been found in stores anywhere yet (correct me if I'm wrong). Pretty sure these are going to be a wave 2 of Series 2 Zelfs. Re: Lil' Zelfs Series 2 - Has ANYONE in the USA found these yet, in either the flowerpots or the eggs? I've been hoping to see the eggs at least in the Easter displays in stores, but nothing yet, even though my Toys 'R Us has lots of Easter merchandise already. So sad! I hope they won't be hard to find, because I've really become obsessed with Lil' Zelfs, and the only place the Series 2 can be obtained so far is from the UK. I have a few, but I need more!

*checks Amazon* Hmm, yes, you're right. The sellers that are coming up with Zelf toy listings are Moose Toys and ZELFS, so they're not technically 'third parties.' More like first parties, lol. But yeah, those sellers are not selling them at anywhere close to store retail (which is strange to me). But when Moose is telling people to buy on Amazon, that is probably what they are referring to. They have their own account to sell the toys on Amazon.
I'm pretty sure Moose Toys and ZELFS are just listed as the manufacturer, not as the seller. Each listing states which third-party vendor the toys are actually coming from (for example, this listing says Moose Toys is the manufacturer, but the description states the toy is actually sold by a retailer called GamingTitans). As far as I can tell, the toys aren't actually being distributed through Moose via Amazon, except through the third-party vendors. Maybe Amazon themselves actually stocked them during the Holidays, though? Does anyone know for sure?

That's the thing, though - it seems like most Walmart stores didn't even carry them, and there are numerous reports that, in the stores that did have them, they were not allotted a space in the planogram, and were put on clearance almost instantly. I just can't accept that Walmart dropped them because they were poor sellers; it seems more like they never had any plan for how to sell them in the first place.
As for Amazon being a Zelfs retailer in the USA, have there ever been Zelfs sold directly by Amazon? Seems like all the ones I see there are sold by third-party sellers (at a big markup). But they must be coming from somewhere, if smaller niche retailers are able to stock them? It's a mystery! At any rate, if Zelfs continue to be big sellers, I'm sure more retailers will come on board. All we USA collectors can do in the meantime is to continue supporting the brand!

I keep forgetting to post this here! I emailed Moose with questions about the genders of Lochlan and Flamy (both of whom are referred to as he and she on their packaging), and also about the availability of Zelfs in the USA, since Walmart was removed from the vendor list on the official Zelfs website. Here's the response I got:
"Thank you for your email .
We are so pleased to hear that you are enjoying our Zelfs range .
Both Lochlan and Flamy are boys , sorry for the confusion , we are currently working on updating our packaging .
Zelf’s are available only at Toys R Us stores in the USA .
You can also currently purchase at Amazon.

So it's official--Flamy is a BOY! And it's sad that Toys 'R' Us is the only physical store in the USA selling Zelfs for now (not counting the Lil' Zelfs at Target). I did ask if there were any plans for more stores to sell them, but they didn't specify that in their response.

I can't believe it! I found Jewely at my TRU in Madison, Wisconsin today! My hands were shaking when I pulled her from the back of the display. I can't believe my luck! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThey had all the Masquerade Zelfs, as well as the first-wave Season 2 Zelfs. Still no Lil'Zelfs from Series 2, though. Has anyone in the USA found them anywhere yet? None of the new Super Zelfs were there yet, either, though I think I read they've been found in a store out on the east coast.

anyone know how to tell which ones are the Series 2 tinies? Do they say "Series 2" or "2nd Wave" on the pots, or something? The Series 2 flowerpots are all hot pink with blue lids, as far as I can tell. Wow, I'm incredibly bummed that Moose wasn't allowing the new Zelfs to be filmed! I was so looking forward to it. I wonder why they allowed it at the London Toy Fair, but not the one in New York? Are the new egg ones for Easter? I hope Target or Walmart will have them. I hope they're for Easter, too! If they have them at Target, there may be sales, or even after-Easter clearances to look forward to. Is it bad that my mind automatically goes there?! -- On a brighter note, NY Toy Fair may not have allowed filming, but I discovered some videos from last month's London Toy Fair which show quite a lot of the new Zelfs! (Minus the Zelicious line, for some reason - no mention of them at all.) I've taken some screenshots, and although they're not the clearest, they definitely shed a lot of light on what we have to look forward to for Season 3 of The Zelfs! (I'm sure those aren't actually their names; someone posted earlier that the Duck Zelf will be named Billy.) I can also see Super Zelfs versions of what look like a Chinese Dragon and a Poodle (the furry-footed one--too bad it's plastic "fur" and not the real furry stuff, though). It also looks like maybe the Series 3 Lil' Zelfs will come in mushroom-shaped containers? The display with the Series 3 box has the same flower pots inside that Series 2 uses, but the picture on the box shows a Lil' Zelf sitting on a plastic mushroom, and one of the mushrooms is sitting next to the box. Anyway, just wanted to share these exciting finds! If anyone can track down more info, please post here!

Does anyone know if Moose is displaying Zelfs at the New York Toy Fair going on now? I've seen lots of Toy Fair pics, but nothing at all featuring Zelfs...I'm still hoping, though!

There's no evidence of new characters anywhere on the packaging of the Masquerade Zelfs (not even Jewley the rare Ruby Zelf). I thought the funniest thing about the Masquerade packaging is how they suggest a hairstyle on the back which utilizes the Zelf hair bands, but the Masquerade Zelfs don't even come with hair bands! Maybe they want you to use those clear bands that hold the Zelfs in the packaging?  The same hairstyle instructions are on the back of the packaging for the Series 2 Zelfs as well, so I suppose it's just standard, but it still gave me a giggle. PS: According to the Masquerade leaflet, Flamy is a guy. I am fairly sure I remember the original leaflet stating him as a 'she', so I guess they wanted to change it up so there's more guys in the line. I think in the original line they were all female except Lil' D, lol.
Probably just a typo! What's even funnier is that I got Super Zelf Lochlan yesterday, and Lochlan is referred to as a "He" AND a "She" on the package! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSo...which is it? I suppose it's unimportant, since Lochlan is adorable regardless of gender, but I may just email Moose to find out! not sure if you guys ever watchted the Disney cartoon the wuzzles but dandy lion remeinds me of the wuzzle named butterbear I thought the exact same thing! Dandy Lion also reminds me a bit of King Moonracer from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

I want them! Do you need any of the ones I have? And I agree with some others here that Zelfs are sorta like what MLP should be! I hope future Zelfs lines don't get TOO complicated, though. I indulged in some retail therapy last week and ordered some Series 2 Zelfs from Character-Online in the UK. They arrived today (so fast)! I got medium Snap Jack, Birchy, Kitsu and Flitter, and 4 of the Series 2 Lil' Zelf flowerpots. Since I hadn't seen anyone else post the Series 2 minis here, I thought I'd share my observations! (Please excuse the horrendous cellphone photos!) visitors can't see pics , please register or loginNew packaging! All four pots I received had pink bottoms and blue tops. I'm unsure if there are different colors of flowerpots available, as in Series 1. And notice that the clear plastic is sealed all the way around, unlike in Series 1, where it was slightly open on the top (allowing us to sneak a peek inside)! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginClear plastic has been removed, and...what's that white thing at the top of the pot? Looks like Moose Toys has definitely caught on to our cheating ways, and is now taking deliberate action to prevent us from peeking inside before buying! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis is the small circle of white cardboard which blocks the view of the contents until the pot is opened. So yeah...I guess I have a Webina pearl Lil' Zelf for trade, if anyone wants her! I'm really happy with my new Zelfs overall, however! Also--I was trying to take note of the embossed numerals on the cardboard band that surrounds the flowerpot, in case there was some sort of code indicating which Zelf is inside. I am sad to report that all four of mine had the exact same embossed numbers, and clearly I got three different figures, so I guess there's really no way of telling now which Zelf is inside until you buy!
