Wolfenstein: The New Colossus. It's solid on its own but what I really love is that you can play a version of the early 90s original Wolfenstein as a game within the game. Nostalgia blast!

Currently playing The Walking Dead: New Frontier - it's okay and I like the new player character, but the writing's just not nearly as solid as the original.

The Dollhouse / Re: Best site to sell American girl accessories?
« on: May 26, 2017, 12:29:04 PM »
I've heard about AG Buy/Sell/Trade pages on FB being popular, but I haven't used them myself.  Most of the AG boards (like AG Playthings and AG Collectors) have sales threads (and I have sold that way), although you need to be a member for an active certain amount of time before selling anything on those.

Ebay always has the bigger audience though.

The Dollhouse / Re: What kind of doll collector are you?
« on: May 16, 2017, 08:31:41 AM »
I'd been more of a small collection doll person, but between 2011 and 2014 I went a little overboard and ended up with a large collection. I've decided I'm happier with a smaller collection though, so now I'm trying to thin them out - it's tough deciding who to part with, but I move so often that having to pack up everything every couple of years has just gotten irritating. And once the collection is more stressful and less fun, I figure it's time to change the way I'm approaching it.  :)

The Dollhouse / Re: Restring Vogue Ginny?

Do you know what version of Ginny she has?

I've restrung a Ginny from the International line from the '80s (which are strung with thick rubber elastic), but I know they have a different construction than the older and newer ones.  In case it's the same, I blogged about the process here using regular household tools.

Dolls ship from the United States. I'm happy to ship internationally, but please be aware that these are large dolls and will have high shipping rates.
Within the US I prefer to ship Priority Mail, but will ship regular mail on request. Depending on the size of the boxes, most of these ship between $13 and $20 within the US.
Payments via PayPal please.

I've been playing Dreamfall Chapters. It's fun, but it's making me realize how little I remember from Dreamfall: The Longest Journey.

I've been playing Persona 5. It's a solid game but I'm just not as enthralled with it as I was with P4G and I don't know why...

Off Topic / Re: How do you get around town?
« on: April 21, 2017, 02:16:16 PM »
I needed to check several of the boxes there. I walk to everything that's walking distance (some restaurants, coffee shops, parks), drive to a few others (grocery, volunteer activities), and use uber for still others.

I don't use transit much these days, but in every other city I've lived in that's been my primary choice of transportation - the infrastructure just isn't great for it where I am now.

Looove this pair. Who's the doll in the back?

Thanks!  She's a Limhwa Half-elf in tan (the 2011 tan - I think the more recent ones are a slightly different colour).

The Dollhouse / Ginny Dolls of the World
« on: February 28, 2017, 07:16:03 AM »
I'm going to be moving this summer and need to clear out some space, so some of my dolls are looking for new homes.

Items ship from Texas. Willing to ship anywhere, but be aware that international shipping can be unfortunately high, especially for heavier items. I take PayPal. If you're interested, PM me with your preferred shipping details (speed and zip/post code) and I'll get you a shipping quote.

Tropical Adventure Ginny - $9.00 + shipping
She was new in box (from an 80s International Dolls series) when I purchased her, but her elastic had hardened and snapped due to age leaving her head and arms floating in the box, so I opened it and replaced the elastic.

Navajo Princess Ginny - $7.00 + shipping
She's new in box, but her elastic has snapped due to age, so her head and arms are loose in the box. It's an easy repair to do, I just haven't had the chance to do it.
