She looks awesome zannid, you did a great job! You should have no problem with selling her!

Thanks so much! :D We're moving next month so I've been working extra hard to get projects done before then.

Yeah, I think someone earlier on this thread mentioned that Dollyhair was only changing the MLP nylon hanks back. Since I deal mostly with saran, I stopped using their business.

I've actually had better luck with China face ups then with Indonesia ones with wonk eye, but I will say the actual paint quality seems to be better with the Indonesia ones. I wish that we could get the China way of rooting and have it used with the Indonesia dolls. They have tighter joints, a heftier feel to them, and in general seem a higher quality then the Chinese ones.

I'm so excited, I finally find an easy way to clean the dust out of my girls hair since they aren't in a covered display. The cheap, crappy lint rollers you find in the dollar section work perfect for getting the dust out of hair without pulling out any strands since they aren't too sticky. Finally an easy way to clean my collection!

The Dollhouse / Re: Clawdeen the daughter of the werewolf
« on: February 28, 2013, 12:26:18 PM »
I think part of it may be that the first releases were designed to be much simpler monsters. First wave Clawdeen didn't even have clawed hands at the time, instead they used the more human hand mold. As Monster High has gone on, the designs and molds have slowly gotten more and more complex. I think with the tails, it would be too big of a change from the original design for them to do, but I have wondered before why the werecats have them and not the werewolves.

It might be a good idea to post a looking for to see if anyone's store might still have one. Then if you don't get any bites you can decide if the higher price is worth it for you.

I unpack most of my dolls, both for space and to pose them. I will say that with the ones like the powerghouls, I'd probably keep them in the box just because they are so well designed and dynamic.

I use Loctite flexible adhesive for any large holes or split in the vinyl. It stays flexible so you can poke new holes in it to reroot.

Temporary price cut on Lagoona... My later, styled customs won't be priced as low so it's a good chance to get a cheaper one.
